If we really put in a shift and hassle them like we did Liverpool, then we have a chance. But they are way better than the 'pool.

Can hope they rest players though (Aguiro for one!)

We got given 2200. The early kick off is inconvenient for those coming down from Manchester. Euston is two hours and then there's another hour to Upton Park. A car journey is about the same. I'd adamant more affordable tickets would've seen it fuller and more lively. However, QPR sold out quickly and that's 5.30pm.

In that case, 0-6. 4 wouldn't be enough to knock my current optimism off path.

I think you'll score more than two

Would settle for a close competitive game, maybe earn a draw if we could. Desperately hoping you lot can catch and overtake Chelsea. I'd love to take some points of them this season with our new look squad.

And now confirmed by David Gold.
Probably on the bench I would have thought.
A welcome return, though I am in the camp that think their attack is far too good for our defence and along with Billy and others can see us crashing back down to earth with a 4-0 or 4-1 reverse.
On the other hand, you just never know, they were brilliant first half yesterday, almost unstoppable and yet caved in alarmingly towards the end.
Anything at all from this game would be a real bonus.

I really want to beat this lot .Desperate to do so.

Anything, in off of Nolans arse in the 92nd minute, Carlton tripping over and kocking it in off his head, a 40 yard screamer from Valencia , a Noble penalty ........anything at all .

Seems to be a common theme amongst travelling fans these days. Such a shame WHU have to charge travelling fans so much, particularly with the additional cost of travel away fans have to pay.

QPR is also an away allocation around half the size of ours iirc?

3-1 City, Sakho to get ours. Don't mind us losing as long as we put a shift in.

Just hope we put in a good shift, try their best, and thats all we can hope for I think we might sneak a draw..... Sam will have them up for this at home we will score its keeping them at bay could be the problem ,nice to have the K man back in midfield for this as he puts in a good shift and is a very good player who plays for the shirt as are all the team it seems this season fair play to the staff and COYI sat :crest:

Heart says: get on the happy bus thinking we can nick a point or three :scarfer:

Head says: whatever side City put out - it'll be strong and score more goals than us.

1-3 to them.

I have to say it is nice to be looking forward to a game when we will see one of the most prolific goal scorers in the league step out at the Boleyn Ground, this Saturday we get that, Diafra Sakho!

Just hope Sam don't change the system and go all defensive, Sakho and Valencia are on fire at the moment. If we take it to them early on we could get ourselves in front, if we sit back they will just take over and it could end up a nightmare.

Message to Sam 'Be Positive' :scarfer:
