I think you'll find that all 3 switch around and are quite versatile. Its more of a

Kouyate - Song - Noble
Downing

If you watch Song in comparison to Noble (which I have done the past 2 home games), Song completely dominates the midfield, make the tackles, plays the simple ball (occasionally long ball) and controls the pace of the game. From where I am, I see Noble as someone who makes the passes after Song has given him the ball. Song is in a completely different league to Noble.
