I hardly think that current circumstances would justify this 'discussion' as you see call it. Embarrassing topic, take it down unless you want to be a laughing stock.
NL Thanks for your advice but I'll let this run unless the Mods want to take it down.

This is not a knee jerk thread based on being knocked out of the Europa Cup, just fed up with every other thread being peppered with anti Dave's comments. Now they will have somewhere to have their say.
No disrespect to our fellow poster "Hugh II" but have a look at at some of the posts that he has put up in the summer transfer thread, hardly complimentary of our owners.

I was furious. Proper fuming. We threw a f***ing European game.

Then I realised the simple truth. The Board are doing as much as they can afford.

They're not rich enough to deliver what we want.

Need a strong squad to compete on more than one front. We haven't even finished building a strong 11 yet.

Maybe Bilic is smart and is demonstrating that fact.

And I have come round to accepting that the Daves do want to take us forwards.

But the bottom line is, they can't afford to do it as fast as we want.

I'm reading a lot of hysterical posts tonight. This one is right up there.

Football is really losing it's soul.

I can't stand them either, they're not supporters however much they try and pretend to be.

Truth of the matter is that rather than question Bilic's experience or just being philosophical about the ambivalent benefits of the Europa league, people are happy to deflect attention to the owners. Sad and totally unfair. Nothing else to say about it. Sad for KUMB, not what it used to be these days - always one bad result away from a witch hunt. Getting stupid now!

I used to hate the idea, but now I just want us to be bought out by some multi billionaire and buy the best players in the world for ridiculous sums of money.

Football has no soul anymore, and aiming to finish 14th-17th every year without even the modest dream of a cup run is pathetic and dull.

I don't think it matters, there is too much money in it now and nobody is in it for love unless you look below league 2
