I doubt if he'll be replacing Eden Hazard mate but he's worth a lot more to us then any paltry transfer fee. I'd say he's worth more than 20 million to us considering we have problems attracting players to come here in the first place.

We can always sell him and see who's playing on the right wing for Sunderland, Boro or Hull and use a third of the fee we receive for Iron Mic to sign them.

At first I laughed and thought this was a joke. Then the laughs started to turn into tears as I slowly realised we sold Payet, one of the worlds top players at the time and replaced him with a scottish 5/10 every week player.

Let's be honest, we didn't really 'swap' did we

Payet (****) refused to play for us, meaning we had to sell him

We then purchased two players to add to the squad in the same transfer window

He isn't injured. He's ill and was being sick before the game but played anyway. Then started to go down hill after 30 mins, according to Slav.

Depends, grade 1 can be recovered within 3 weeks, grade 2 is about 4-8 weeks and a grade 3 which is a half or full rupture of the muscle fibres is normaly 3 months plus. Considering there was obvious instant pain and altered gait (normal walking pattern) it would suggest atleast grade 2. I'm not sure when the last game is but we might see him back for the last game or two. I reckon we rushed him back too soon as we had important games. He needs to fully recover now as hamstrings have a tendency to re-occur if not rehabed correctly.

Season over for him, best thing for him to recover properly now and not be forced back. Hopefully we can beat Sunderland without him and that's that ...

This is what happens when players are rushed back. And it's most likely why Calleri was brought on ahead of carroll and sakho.
