Re: Adrián San Miguel del Castillo
Just knew that Adrian wouldn't let anything by him, outside of a deflection and a run straight through the middle, that save from Dele was pure class.
Proper typical of West Ham that we have got a Top Player who loves the club and he can't wait to leave and get game time elsewhere. Sully responsible for bringing in Hart and his comments about our 2 existing international goalies in the summer. Sully is the pure opposite of the Midas Touch, everything he touches gets tainted and brings West Ham down, you would not have thought its a £ 650m investment for the wee man.

that's what he wanted the other keeper to think, hence the gloves off. mind games!smuts wrote:What I love about that penalty is you can see he never had any doubts he would miss. There's top strikers who'd love to be able to slot one in like that.

Thought he did OK last night, although made somewhat heavy weather of Alli's last ditch long range effort near the end. I think he did the right thing in pushing it away, but had it not been for the spuds player being slow to re-act to the rebound, it could have cost us

Like Teflon this bloke. Made me nervous every shot.
Not read this thread or the board yet but I bet someone somewhere has said he should be in for Palace yet based on the fact he ran 90 yards to celebrate.

He's not the greatest keeper (if he was we wouldn't have got him on a free, or at all) but Adrian is the sort of player we love. PDC was brilliant, but wouldn't be the same sort of legend he is today without the insanely passionate goal celebrations etc. Not saying Adrian is PDC, but throwing your gloves to the ground before taking a match winning penalty, running the length of the pitch t celebrate a 2 - 3 comeback at Spurs. It's a good start.
Oh yeah, and he's a better shot stopper than Hart (IMO).

Did well throughout but in typical Adrian fashion nearly had a mare towards the end where he should have gathered the ball or at the very least dealt with it a lot better. Hart hasn't done great since arriving but I still feel safer with him between the sticks over Adrian

Re: Adrián San Miguel del Castillo
Thought the late shot had come through a mass of players so may have seen it late but still parried it away to the side so wouldn’t have been a tap in, Hart likely would have palmed it into the net and also wouldn’t have got to Alli’s earlier shot. I felt much more confident with him in there. #adrianisWHU

We know Adrian's level. Personally I'd rather persevere with Hart in the hope he may recapture some form. The current Hart is still arguably as good as Adrian

You are levels better than Hart, why do football managers owners go by names and not performance. Adrian is the beat keeper we have had in many a year and has been treated awfully, stand up Moyes and pick the winner.

Re: Adrián San Miguel del Castillo
The difference between a player wanting the shirt and one who perhaps has it on demand?
Good work Adrian..proper West Ham player

I think that's doing Adrian a disservice, regardless of passion etc he is just as good if not a better keeperOFT wrote:The difference between a player wanting the shirt and one who perhaps has it on demand?

Re: Adrián San Miguel del Castillo
Adrian was the MOTM, he deserves to be our main goalkeeper. But he wont be.
Re: Adrián San Miguel del Castillo
Should really be starting next Saturday.
Come on Moyes make it right.

Re: Adrián San Miguel del Castillo
That was n't my intention at all, just my clumsy way of saying Adrian always seems 'up for it'.fmgod wrote:

The bloke deserves to stay in the team for certain.

Re: Adrián San Miguel del Castillo
People still thinking he may just be as good as Hart. San Miguel is much better, we have a real top quality keeper in Adrian.
