There is a popular school of thought on here that Jussi goes down too quickly.....which implies he would have saved the first one.

Good confident athletic gk, I have been impressed, great distribution and has done well, I certainly feel more confident with him not to make a clanger, jussi is past it now, good in glimpes, but you know a clanger is not far away and I felt so much more confident when Rooney had that free-kick.

How many shots did they actually get on target, and how many did he save?

Interestingly, same goalkeeping coach but completely different starting position for the free kick.

Seemed an odd one to me seeing as Jussi played so well last week

How many clangers has Jussi actually made? Not many at all. So far Adrian is 1 in 1 for league matches. It'll be interesting to see who starts next week

Should have saved the first goal 2nd and 3rd goal he had no chance what a superb save from cleverly overall good game and hope he starts next week.

Big Sam is slowly putting in the players I want to start, one he kept picking Collins over Tomkins which I don't like as Tomkins is better and now he's finally seen that and he has now dropped the old has been who fumbles every shot going lets hope Adrian is better. Now all left for him to do is drop Nolan and play Diame in his correct postion ie not out wide.

I think the fear of Jussi making a mistake is far higher than the chances of him actually making one.

YWN, yes Adrian has made a couple of shockers but Jussi makes more every game he just gets away with them through no fault if his own.

The fact I saw Adrian leave his goal line and catch something today makes him my number one still.

When the ball looped up in the first half and he caught it, I thought straight away that Jussi would have made a right hash of that.

Adrian might not be great but Jussi is woeful barring the odd instinctive save which Adrian has shown he is also capable of.

Jussi made in 2 in 2 in games against Norwich and Chelsea. Hardly a clanger considering 2 players could've cleared it.

I'm sorry but the ball has gone straight through him for our oppositions first goal two games in a row. It's not good enough. Jussi has some awkward moments for sure but they very rarely lead to a goal

YWN - harsh given Tomkins dummied it when all defenders would have cleared it, he was unsighted and Tomkins was on the edge of the six yard box - can hardly be blamed for that.

2 of them led to penalties, which resulted in a goal. Some of his positioning for free kicks have been a plea for top free kick takers to pick their side and put the ball there.

I like Jussi, I think over the course of being here he's made a lot of good saves and put in a lot of good performances. So I'm not bothered if either one starts. But to hound Adrian out like some people are doing, without crediting him for any of the good stuff is shocking.

I'm not singling out Adrian. I just felt the dropping was Jussi was incredibly harsh and it hasn't worked out imo. Wouldn't be at all surprised to see Adrian back on the bench on Saturday

It certainly wasn't a howler, Tomkins should be clearing that all day. The fact he didn't was surprise enough to fool Adrian.

I think he's looked confident and as good as Jussi. Would be upset to see him dropped for the next game

He's got every chance to get 2 clean sheets in the next two games.
