You can't buy or teach class like Jack has

Will remain one of my favourite ever hammers despite the relative fleeting nature of his time before his injury. The role he played in getting us back to the Prem will live forever in my memory

Good luck Jack - if you get what you deserve then you'll be back to manage us in the champions league in the future

In the old days a testimonial would have been granted (see John Lyall).
I can't think of anyone more deserving.
Good luck Jack.

Yes, a testimonial would be a nice gesture, not least because he was instrumental in getting us to the play-off final and, ultimately, back in the prem.

Proper feel for the fella, seems a really down to earth nice bloke. I can't imagine the frustration in knowing you would of made it as a player in the prem (I don't think there's much doubt in that is there) but an injury when aged only 20 means you'll never get the chance to fulfil your potential.

Really hope he does well with his coaching and media work.

Good luck Jack , a really nice down to earth guy , never forget him playing when his dad has just died, bought me to floods that of tears .Thought he had a bit of Carrick about him and i really liked him as a player.
Hope he finds something methods ng in life to replace playing.

Not since Danny Williamson have I wanted a player to succeed as much as I wanted Jack to.
Not only is he a genuinely gifted player, I never saw him give less than his all, no matter what shirt he wore.
He conducts himself well on and off the pitch, and I am truly sorry that this has come to pass.
I've said this before but I think it bears repeating - I don't have a son, but if I did, I'd want him to be like Jack Collison.

Guess we'll never know how good he would have been. Comparisons to the young Carrick are probably accurate.

Never met him but after listening to him being interviewed by Victoria Derbyshire he seems to be a very decent bloke.

Wish him nothing but well.

Scored a brilliant first goal.

Showed his true measure in the Millwall cup match.

A stand up gent I am proud to have seen in our shirt.

Had to do a double take as I walked down Regent Street yesterday. They had closed the road off for a summer event, one of which was kids running around cones with a football while wearing a pair of goggles that distorted their vision. On the microphone MCing the event was none other than our Jack, detailing what was going on in front of him whilst promoting his soccer school. Made me a little sad that such a talented young man, who no doubt would have been playing in a European Championship semi final in front of thousands of adoring fans, had his career ended so early.

We could do with his energy and enthusiasm around our youth team, we could do a lot worse employing him in some capacity .

Along with running his own soccer school Jack is the under 21's manager at Peterborough United so plenty of time on his side to learn and develop

Great news - took my boys on one of his courses and he was great with them - encouraging but also constructive and very engaging with them.

Wish him all the success on returning 'home'

Good news, hopefully he carves out a 2nd career for himself. Always seemed a top person (a mate of mine taught him PE and says what a great kid he was too), deserves a few things to go his way after the last few years. Best of luck to him
