We are such a kind club loaning out players, many youngsters with talent to sit on the bench, such compassion to these clubs.

To be fair to Oxford Martinez starts a lot of games as well. They've got three strikers in good form sharing the minutes

I'd recall him if the option is available. I'm sure he'd rather stay put though!

Playing in an Everton side brimming with confidence and quality all over the park, with one of the best strikers in the World up front, is a lot easier to look good in, once every three or four games, than our team. Enner has to go, he's not good enough to start for them, he's not good enough to start for us.

We don't have one of the best strikers in the world. He looks like he's got a bit of confidence back. What's to lose? He can't be any worse than Calleri/Fletcher.

Exactly, we don't have one of the best strikers in the World or a team brimming with confidence with quality all over the pitch, we'd be looking, or needing, to start him most games too. Everton use him sparingly, mainly as a late sub, once every four games he does something. As far as I'm aware we can't recall him, they paid 1.5m to have him on loan, sure he probably wouldn't be any worse than Calleri, he certainly hasn't got the touch and pace of Fletcher though and Fletcher looks a far better prospect. We need to have better attacking options than Enner Valencia if we're to push on.

no way is valencia good enough to start for us at best he would be 7th striker if he stays.

Batshauyi defoe carroll ayew fletcher sakho valencia

so he will be sold for 8m hopefully to help fund the first two on the list.

West Ham youngster's loan over

Young right-back Alex Pike's loan spell at Cheltenham Town has been brought to a premature end by injury.

The 20-year-old made his debut in the 3-0 home win over Accrington Stanley on January 15. He went on to make four further appearances for the Robins before suffering an adductor injury and he has been back at his parent club for treatment. His final appearance was in the 2-1 defeat at Stevenage on February 14 and Jack Barthram has taken over at right wing-back for the past seven games.

That's brilliant news - great to see him back

The important question is pretty obvious - was his loan at Wigan cancelled when he got injured?
Which would mean we could use him in the next few matches (and boy could we use him!)

Or does he now have to return to Wigan?

Hopefully the nee manager (i'm assuming) will give the Reece's a chance so we know whether they're good enough or not next year.

No, he's still available for Wigan. His playing registration has been transferred to them for the remainder of the season, so he would be ineligible to play for us even if all parties wanted him back at West Ham. I think.
