Wembley has a concourse that is, at the very least, indoors. How can you say London Stadium is better?
I love the semi outdoor concourse, best I've seen tbh.

No he bloody well does not.

The man is so deep in the owners pockets. I had the displeasure to meet him at a game once.He was singing the owners praises like there was no Tomorrow. Some fan asked him "if he enjoyed talking b*llocks on behalf of the owners and if so was the pay worth it", Hugh responded by saying he would report the fan for abusing him at a game.

Sensitive soul.

It always helps if you read what people have actually said rather than what you think they said.

As for that second paragraph. Well..........

Just watched some of the meeting, one concerning point is that a member raised the question as to whether the LLDC have looked into the cost of cancelling the contract with WHUFC, the outgoing chair said this would be financially not recommended, my concern is that this is even brought up, should they cancel the contract and we sue it would mean years of limbo, whatever it will cost them they will gain by selling the OS to someone like O2/Verizon etc, contracts do get cancelled, even big ones!!!!

Should never have left UP....................LONG LIVE THE BOLEYN.

I would love it, love it, if they kicked us out of the OS.

what would we be worth as a club if we were to have the contract cancelled and be homeless???
would we also be kicked out of the football league for not being able to stage home games?

Would you actually love it?

What do you think would become of us if this happened, how does it play out?

I am guessing we would have to come up with an agreement to ground share with someone like Charlton pretty sharpish whilst we sorted out plans.

Just sell the stadium to West Ham and be done with this.

Building the stadium was a mistake, the Olympic was a mistake. Take the L.

Yes I would.

I imagine us groundhopping until a new stadium can be sorted out. A football stadium. I think it would be exciting.

They'll end up buying WHU out of the 99 yr lease , otherwise they sacrifice the possibility of making billions via other viable developments. Now its just a waiting game for our owners so don't expect them to sell our club in the near future unless they can convince another buyer that it is almost inevitable that they will be paid £150-188m quid in compensation. But can the owners then pocket the cash and leave us high and dry without a stadium? Or would it end up with us doing a spurs , renting out wembley while owners buy some crappy unused football ground and spend a good wad to update it? Whatever happens, GS are going to make a big profit.

And how long do you realistically think it would take for a new stadium to be sorted out?

Look, I'd be happy to build a new stadium, and then move out of the OS. But being homeless for 5-10 years doesn't really appeal.

Is Orient a possibility? Buy them out and then spend millions updating it?
