Week 25 Benchmark Preview:

This weekend’s matches with each teams relative Home and Away Benchmark trend so far (Arsenal have improved their results 4 times, matched their results 5 times and worsened their results 3 times in their corresponding home games) and last year’s result for those interested.

Thanks for the update , the next 5 games could either see us claw back a significant amount of our deficit or confirm we have gone backwards at a rate of knots year on year .

Or, like Leicester, is it simply a case of over achieving last year ?

A case of, at the very best, standing still from last season (and more likely going backwards) and hence seeing other sides go past us.

We finished on 62 points last season - if we win the last ten straight we'd end up on 63 points (I have faith)

Anything other than a win today means it's mathematically impossible to equal last seasons points tally
