My thoughts too. Whereas it's looking considerably better than it did a few days ago a couple of bad results for us and one or two 'surprise'(I use that word intentionally) results elsewhere and the pressure's back on.

Respecting the point could be handy.

Yesterday relieved a lot of pressure. Had we lost that, I think we would have our head in the hangmans noose. Four more required IMO, a win next weekend and 1 more point a long the way somewhere, probably an unlikely bonus point at home to Liverpool

With the happy clappers losing today there's 6 clubs 10th to 15th and only 2 points between the lot.

No way in hell we'll need another 4 points for safety. I reckon just 1 will do it but will happily take 3 against Sunderland ;)

Just imagine what our Director of Football could spend that on.

I don't see Swansea getting over 8 points more than us between now and the end of the season. It's either them or Hull now.

4 more points and we'd certainly be safe. To be honest if we're getting less than that from our final six matches we deserve to be in the mire.

Although I too don't wish for the staff at the Club to think that, I definitely am. We definitely ain't going down now and I'm completely relaxed about the situation. The game to make sure if winning, was on Saturday. Now it's just a case of getting as much prize money as possible around midtable.

Sunderland and Boro are gone, good riddance, they've stunk the league out.

Won't miss trekking up there.

Looks like Newcastle and Brighton are certs to replace them.

Hopefully we are so far away from Swansea & Hull they can't catch up, I don't see another win this season :(

We've beaten almost all Teams below us at Home this season, great ! But no more of those games left. Only Probable Loss & Draw remain, ok, we could get an unexpected win, but Form says No. Burnley are mega-strong at Home is the lowest placed Team we have to meet.

Reading that only serves to highlight just how **** this season has been compared to last, we were smashing up all the big boys last season, even grabbing draws when the referees and linos were doing their best to screw us over (and they were, in hindsight it is even more ridiculous than it first seemed, Arsenal at home was incredibad).

Just shows how valuable a point tomorrow would be. After that we need to target the stoke game. I'd probably take 2pts from those 2 as I can't see us getting anything else.

Burnley, Barton and Dyche to go down? I'd love us to be the ones to do that to them on their own patch, oh I'd love it :D

Good point, but Bournemouth, Hull & Swansea all winning has done us no favours at all, still not safe in my eyes.

Virtually, but not quite. One more win will do it for sure

By my reckoning it would need a minimum of Swansea winning 3 out of:

Man Utd (A) - Need a very unlikely result
Everton (H) - Could be off form like today
Sunderland (A) - Will be gone already, nothing to play for
West Brom (H) - Practically on the beach already

If that happened and we didn't get at least two points and keep our +14 goal difference we're screwed, still a very small chance I'd say!

I sort of knew Hull and Swansea would hit CL form this weekend. Still more likely we'll do it with a couple of draws rather than a win

Still think Crystal Palace could be in 18th spot come the end of the season - their match against Hull could decide it

Great result but now we are less safe than before!!!! Still worried I'm afraid .

If :
1. Stoke hadn't missed that penalty
2. Watford had capitalised on 10 man Hull.
3. Bournemouth hadn't scored 4 and increased their GD over us

We'd probably be okay. But now there is still hope for Swansea and Hull which means anything can happen. We've just got to try and scrape over that line, but funnily enough we could also still end up in 10th place. Still have that nagging doubt that fate is working against us.
