8 conceded in 2 games against fellow relegation candidates gives a good start on emulating the 2002/03 Best team to even go down 8-)

For us to be actually relegated this season? Not in a million years. You're welcome to quote me on that, as I did last season too. :D

We may struggle though as it's currently going.

I don't buy into the "We're too good to go down" or "There's three worse teams than us" lark.
The pressure on us to remain in this league is so much greater than in 2003. Then we had a very good team on paper too.
The consequences are huge and sadly I find it quite amusing. It could only happen to us.

I'd never claim we're too good to go down, it's always a possibility. I just don't think we will this season.

It's early days but if we don't sort our defence out we are in trouble.
We need to start picking up points before the rot sets in.

What does promote negativity is the hammers playing s**t, and we're certainly doing that!

We need Carroll, Sakho and Ayew back tuit suite. But disturbingly, we can do nothing about the defence and goalkeeper. I seems to me, no matter what combination we play at the back, there is no solution to stopping the goals

If we go down, we go down. ~ I ain't gonna agonise over it all ****ing season and lose sleep over it. I shall leave that to the perpetrators who masterminded it all.
Right now though, I think we look prime relegation candidates

Back in the Boleyn I'd have agreed with this.

We'd be as much West Ham in the Championship battling Ipswich and Bristol City and whoever. We'd still be taking the same journey, buying the same burgers, buying the same **** beer from the same run down pubs. It would still have been West Ham.

West Ham playing Championship football in some spangly soulless modern stadium next to a shopping centre? We might as well be Brighton or Reading

If Brady manages to get rid of all the vociferous fans then who will come and watch us in the Championship?
