One idea to avoid scenarios such as the one above would be to do what the Bundesliga do which is not to confirm the exact date and time of any fixtures until a month or two before the game when the TV fixtures get annouced. Prior to that a particular Bundesliga fixture is just scheduled for the weekend of such and such. On the other hand the Premier League falsely give the impression that fixtures are confirmed for a certain date and time when they're not.

Of course it would also be preferable if they consulted with supporters groups about times and dates.

They'll try to use or stifle the ISA and won't do anything meaningful. They've shown that already. They will use anyone and anything for what they can get and don't offer much of anything in return.

I hope I'm proved wrong but i don't think i will be.

What would you like the WHUISA to do then?

Get more numbers first.

I don't think the club has proved that it can be trusted.

Get your mates to join up..

We are having some dialogue with the club but its slow going. I think we have to be open to affecting change through the front door.

I had reservations with WHUISA becoming aligned with the SAB which I think is a complete farce ( through no fault of those on it I hasten to add) but of course it must engage with the club! How can anything be done otherwise?

I agree. I just don't believe you'll get anything out of this lot.

Morning all

WHUISA meeting later today with West Ham was cancelled this morning due to the ongoing HMRC investigation.

The club have apologised and promised a meeting to replace today's effort.

Will update you as soon as i have anything further to share.

When next engaging with the club could it be asked when the forum / event with player and or manager that was one of the benefits of getting a 1966 ST is going to be held. I'd hate to think the club had broken an agreement with the fans, would be so out of character.

Kialos,

I emailed the Club about this last week given the season finishes in three weeks and had a response which said that "1966 Season Ticket Holders will receive an invitation in due course".

I was impressed that they responded within a week, but can't help feeling we'll get minimal notice of the event!

Hello all. WHUISA has got a new twitter account because of technical issues with the previous one. If you could give https://twitter.com/WHUISA2017 a follow I would be awfully obliged

Onwards and upwards
