A reminder to readers there is a meeting this morning at the supporters club .

On a personal note I urge the WHUISA to reconsider their position with regards the ownership of West Ham United .

WHUISA will reflect the majority view of its membership. I'm only speaking for myself but it has to keep an open line of communication with the club.

Always amazes me how mad the North Bank goes after the first, cheers and applause everywhere...WHU must have ruled it that day 8-)

Sorry, a little off topic.

I think dealing with them is damaging to the ISA.

It's certainly made me step back from getting involved.

The whole point of WHUISA is to deal with the owners.
We need a united voice to challenge them on a broad range of issues.
That's why I joined up.

Sanchoz is correct. An open line of communication with the club is essential to move forward. Most other football club Trusts and associations will have this facility.

All members have the opportunity to raise their concerns to WHUISA who will deal with them on their behalf.

Thanks again for all your hard work gents. Have not been able to attend meetings due to work commitments, but if this thing gets off the ground —and it looks to have done—then this season will not be the waste it has been otherwise.

I don't think you'll have any worthwhile communications with GSB.

They'll try to use or stifle the ISA and won't do anything meaningful. They've shown that already. They will use anyone and anything for what they can get and don't offer much of anything in return.

I hope I'm proved wrong but i don't think i will be.

.

you may be right, but we cant just ignore them, we have to engage with the club,
change can only happen from inside, not by standing outside and refusing to go in

I can see where MegaRon is coming from but at the same time WHUISA is in it's infancy and to even achieve small things, engaging is probably neccesary. Ultimately though I think WHUISA needs to become powerful enough that engaging with the board is an option, not a neccesity. Why would the board offer WHUISA major concessions unless they thought that WHUISA had another option other than engaging?

Both perfectly good points made by mywhufc and leveller.

WHUISA met up on Saturday 8th April prior to the Swansea match and a write up has been delayed by the Easter Holidays. Apologies to all.

The meeting was very positive and well attended. My thanks to all those who made the effort to keep WHUISA on the way forward.

Confirmation of a meeting with the club in the next few days is awaited and the association can then push on with the good work discussed at the meeting.

Details will go out to members first then be published on the WHUISA website and Facebook page with further details disseminated to this and other fanzine sites that have supported us in the first few months of the association. My thanks to all those concerned here.

Meantime membership has reached 660 members and a push to the 1,000 mark will be our aim before the season is out.

If you have not joined yet please go the http://www.WHUISA.org and follow the links.

Always West Ham :scarfer:

We're off to the Premier League HQ next week with the FSF to talk about kick off times, late changes for TV etc with Richard Scudamore and others

if anyone has specific examples of issues drop us a mail on enquiries@whuisa.org or PM me

Can't promise they'll listen but we will do our best
