Personally I wasn't talking about away season ticket holders selling on when can't attend.

I mean those buying tickets in full knowledge they can't attend just to maintain points.

Few seasons back you get pretty much get any tickets you wanted, but since the price reduction and move the points tally needed has risen significantly.

As I say, I'm taking a Southampton ticket off someone so am fuelling it but an observation in the change than anything

I for one am very grateful for the ticket forum for away tickets , I don't question motives and I have never paid above cost price, if your really keen to do away try not being so selective , didn't have any bother getting tickets from away MAn City last year , bank holiday or indeed Boxing day away at Swansea , just accept it for what it is or stop bitching

Hadn't seen how this had kicked off whilst Chavs and I were exchanging messages.

As I said to him I could have selected any of, or all of, the posts moving on tickets. The fact that Chavs had a decent reason to move them on just gives him less reason to get wound up.

The fact is people are doing it, and making it impossible for some to get up the ladder.

Anyway, I think we've all moved on. So fingers crossed I can get some Newcastle tickets and take me to a whopping four points.

In all honesty I think CHAVS showed remarkable restraint.

Once he posted that link (case in point ^^) CHAVS had the right of reply to such a post.

He has absolutely no idea about the reasons involved. It's a cheap shot.

I agree, the only people who should be commenting on what is being posted on the ticket forum are the mods.

Neither the finger-pointing nor name-calling are particularly helpful, gentlemen.

As always, we are monitoring the situation.

Agree although TBH I think Newcastle is a top away trip, great stadium in the middle of a city with loads to do and short walk to the train station. I'm disappointed to be missing it.

Oh and for the newbies it's dead easy to get to your seat, just a couple of flights of stairs and you're there.

United, Southampton and Newcastle all showing as sold out now on the OS. Always great to see, and Cheltenham/WBA soon to follow. Excellent support as always, Hammers

Lung busting couple of stairs those! Once there, it's a great people-watching vantage point as other fans reach the summit

Just limp along to the lifts and tell them you've got a dodgy knee, works for me.
