Prompt reply from the ticket office, looks like they have sorted the error out :)

Dear Kialos

Thank you for your email below, sincere apologies for any inconvenience this has or may of caused in regards to the booking fees.

This was an error when setting up the scheme, and can only apologise for the £2 booking fee being applied rather than the £1 booking fee.

However, for Southampton, there would not be any booking fee added to compensate for the previous booking fee.

All booking fees can be found here:

https://www.eticketing.co.uk/whufc/Cust ... nformation

Kind Regards

Nic

I've had the same response, in addition they've mentioned this weeks' email/booking issues with regard the AST scheme:-

"This season, we are running the away scheme slightly differently compared to last season, and wasn’t aware of the issue below it may be causing. I can also confirm that you have not been charged twice, as the first email is the away scheme being run, and the second is the move of the seat into the game plan.

We will therefore be looking into this to avoid future confusion, but we will update all supporters shortly regarding this"

Cheers. I thought everything was running smoothly last season, whatever they have done appears to have caused themselves more work.

I still can't understand why they didn't just send an email out explaining the glitch and for people not to worry as they would only get one ticket and pay once. Would have saved our time contacting them and their time replying!

Just got my Manchester ticket on 10 points. Now I just need to sort transport. Virgin is £80 so I might take the club coach.

Yeah, thinking of doing the same. Hornchurch coach is leaving far too early for me.

planning a big weekend in Newcastle but some of us have plenty of points and some about 3 or four. what did it go down to last season? even then I'm guessing it went to general sale last year and will probably again what with it still being holiday season and a bank holiday. Cheers

I'm on 4 too, 4th visit in consecutive matches. Really love Man United away, think it's a great away day

Just got mine on 4 points at about 10am this morning.
Been for a couple of cup games before and given my season ticket is not going to provide any home games for the first month of the season I need my fix!

I like Man Utd away as well, prefer it when it's 3pm Saturday but those are pretty rare these days. Glad people who may not get a shout at some other games are able to pick up tickets for this match.

Ahh, ok.

This has actually prompted me to check when they do go on sale and it's later this week so I haven't missed the boat yet. 8-)

Last season I didnt have a ST but do have loyalty points and it allowed me to buy away tickets when it got to my number (6).
This season I dont have a ST and it wont allow me to buybaway tickets when it met my loyalty points number. Have they changed it or did i just get lucky last season and for some reason they had me down as having a ST

I'd say you were lucky as I'm pretty you only get loyalty points if you have a ST
