Can they be trusted? will they really spend money, or if they did make the right decisions?

Where has this obsession with all our players leaving come from? They're all on long contracts, none of them have indicated a willingness to leave, the big 6 will be looking at bigger money signings. Unless some of them fancy sidestepping, we'll be fine.

So many shopping lists. I get quite carried away sometimes, like a kid in a sweetshop.
Hart? Yeah, he's good. Batshuayi? Definitely. Iheanacho? Let's have him too.
On and on.
If we get Defoe and Zabaleta, and nobody significant leaves (like Adrian or Cresswell) I'd be happy with one additional cash on the table signing, and that's Sigurdsson.
Watching Lanzini linking up just once or twice with Masuaku and Ayew against Everton made me pine for the days when he did that with P***t. In my opinion, Sigurdsson would be better for West Ham than Payet was. Honest, industrious, brilliant attitude and all the skill in the world.
Trust our squad to regain its form of last season, and those three are all we need.

Oh, and Mandzukic.
And Malcuit.
And Trippier.

I wonder what our main formation is going to be for next season? 352? 4231?

352= wing back, two strikers, cb and gk
4231 = right back, two strikers, gk, left winger

---------------------------???------------------------
-----------------Reid ??? Ogbonna------------
??? Nordtveit Lanzini Obiang Masuaku
---------------------??? Antonio------------------

----------------???--------------------

--------Nordtveit Obiang---------
---Antonio---Lanzini------???---

Based on my shopping list, here's a fun, attacking 4-3-3, with signings in bold, and reserves.

Adrian
Byram (Zabaleta) --- Reid (Fonte) --- Ogbonna (Kouyate/Collins) --- Masuaku (Cresswell)
Sigurdsson (Noble) --- Obiang (Nordveit) --- Lanzini (Kouyate)
Antonio (Feghouli) --- Carroll/Sakho/Defoe --- Ayew (Snodgrass)

I'd pay to watch that.

I was advocating for us getting him this summer and it looks like Bilic is of that way of thinking also...

Yes, he's a sicknote but when he does play and given confidence by his manager, he's top quality in front of goal. I don't expect him to play majority of games and would regard it as supplementing a decent forward line all taking in turns when they have to sit out due to injury.

Sakho
Carroll
Sturridge
Ayew - anywhere along the forward line
Antonio - anywhere along the forward line

That'll do me

I'd rather we just get rid of our injury prone players and get them off the wage bill than sign even more...

even if we get 10m for Carroll and 5m for Sakho... just get them out...

Rico Henry is now first choice at Brentford, 19 years old and worth keeping tabs on.

We may as well buy injury prone players.

Injury free players, do not stay that way, once the ink has dried on their West Ham contract.

We have so much dross that inevitably there will be huge player churn which isn't healthy.
