He followed a few of their players on Twitter recently apparently
Although I've become a huge pessimist as of late and think he WOULD join them over us, he followed 3 of their players (one being his fellow countryman) but it appears that was months ago so irrelevant to the transfer. Don't know how many of ours are on Twitter but I'd imagine many of them follow players from other clubs

If Giroud is on his way, here's his last 92 goals.Huge proportion are headers or one touch conversions of low crosses.

****ing joke if iheanacho slips through the net and goes to Leicester typical of our tin pot owners

We're probably offering a fiver up front now and then a quid a year for the rest of his life

Cheap c**** just get it done we have waited too long for a proper striker

Aaron Cresswell follows Marcelo on Twitter. Doesn't mean he's going to sign for Real Madrid.

It means you're following somebody I've never heard about.

Problems with a buy-back clause:

If he does very well they will take him back, leaving us with a huge player to replace and half the money he was worth to do it.

If he does moderately well they will take him back just to sell him again, again leaving us with a player to replace and not the money to do it.

If he flops we lose out, and have a player on our books who isn't any use.

Also, they could activate the clause at any time. We could be cruising through the summer window in two years time, having already bought the players we need for the season, we don't need a striker we have Iheanacho.
Then on deadline day Man City drop £30 million on our door, off he goes, and we're left strikerless with nothing we can say or do to stop it.

Utter nonsense being used as an excuse for our out of touch and owners.

The buy back is risk free with a decent contract. Restrict buy back to summer window. As long as the buy back covers all costs it is literally risk free. They are just a pair of deluded greedy old twats. Pardon?

Hmmm... That is not a very attractive proposition and one that with a heavy heart, it would seem, we might be best advised to reject and move onto to our next target. Shame, as we could with him, but we must consider the wider implications and as things stand, that buy back clause does us no favours

Leicester won the premier league the year before last and were last 8 of this years champions league. But sure, if it gets you through by all means blame our owners if Iheanacho has the temerity to turn down WHU.

Unfortunately our owners are "tin pot" in comparison to the owner of Leicester who is one of the richest owners in the premier league.

Our owners are not generous enough. The tv money has ****ed the market up...and they are past it and not moving with the times. Everton will finish above us next season. They are not even going to try to compete. A great shame. Another "nothing" season beckons I suspect.

Indeed they did. Next year they go into the season as the 12th best team in the league, no European football and one that finished below WHU.

I very much doubt Leicester winning the league the season before last counts for much when new players are signing for them. Even after winning the league, their best player left. Financially they are ahead of us, but I'd like to think if it was Iheanacho's decision, he would come here.

Christ you don't half moan. Here I give you £35 million to buy a striker right now. Who will you buy?

We all would but then we are all West Ham supporters. In reality and with WHU specs off nobody should be shocked and stunned if he chose to go to Leicester. It is also IMO getting quite tiresome and a bit boring that some people immediately direct blame to the board when something doesn't go our way - a bit entitled

Leicester owner is worth x3 ours ,plus a healthy club pot from recent success and his connections throughout Asia .Can pretty much blow us out the water financially whenever they like. With a stadium expansion coming ,they will be a solid top 10 club over next few years.
