You play players on form.
Adrian was out of form, he got dropped. Randy is now in the same boat, so Adrian between the sticks for me now.

Although Adrian really did have a very bad patch, I´ve always felt that he instils better confidence in defence than Randy.

Re: A goalkeeper for Saturday [POLL]
When was the last time Randolph bollocked his team mates when he thought they ****ed up and focus? I struggle to remember him doing this, whereas Adrian won't shut up voicing his opinions and barking his orders accordingly. That's something else I've found we've sorely lacked in goal through the course of the season. Randolph comes across as passionless and prefers to nonchalantly chew his gum like a hip teenager. How a Keeper can be so relaxed enough to chew gum is beyond me, but that's probably more of an irrational irritation observation of mine. It just gives off an air of I couldn't give a f*** as long as I look cool.

Completely agree a keeper should be talking a lot during a game. Being a center half myself I know how much it can help a defence. After all, he's the only player on the pitch who can see the full picture. I don't think Adrian is the answer to be honest, especially long term but it's got to a stage now where even if he comes in and makes a mistake noone can really say it was a bad call as Randy is making mistakes most games at the moment

Re: A goalkeeper for Saturday [POLL]
The only issue I now have about reinstating Adrian, is that should we do better as a Team with him in it, it'll make me angry to think we've had one of the answers to our problems all along kicking his heels on our bench.
I wouldn't claim he's a world beater, but I do know a consistent Keeper in this League when I see one.

Re: A goalkeeper for Saturday [POLL]
I remember when Curbs was refusing to play Tevez until crowd pressure of changing his name to come on... I appreciate that's not quite he same with keepers during the game but hope to hear chants of "Adrian" either way today!
Our crowd seems to have gone soft though in terms of vocal expression during home games... too busy stamping feet and talking where I sit anyway!

I find it hard to believe this is Bilic's free choice.

It has to be contracted related or a bust up.... surely doesn't it?dodger wrote:Well we've narrowed down Slav's account on KUMB to one of 19 now at least...
No one in their right mind would be picking Randolph today, he has been useless for months and costs us goals nearly every game

Looked very dodgy on the rare occasions he had to do something.

Top draw save in the second half to be fair. Given as a goal kick but looked like it was going in to me.
