Starts off really well but then it tends to go sour and is never the same again.hammerman11 wrote:with a nice botle of Sakho a potent beer with an unpredictable taste

AC should be plan B never a starter as a 1 up top.
Where's our 'football' optimism gone? We're supposed to have a chance against any team 11 vs 11. We get battered by Arsenal & Chelsea, but Palace beat both of them this month!
There seems to me a worrying lack of belief & Confidence with the Players, Manager, & fans all round. Players have no pattern of play, Bilic constantly looks edgy & stressed on the side lines & fans groaning & moaning about Team, Stadium, Board, Popcorn etc.. It's as if we are imploding from within, suicide mentality. We have to believe together to survive imo play the kids more, they can't be much worse than the first teamers.
Bilic needs to lead us to some light at the end of the tunnel or go, Dicks needs to start geeing up the players from the touchline & in the dressing room. We need to stop going for top 4 transfer targets who invariably turn us down. Develop our own & scout more for diamonds in the rough.
3-1 with fingers crossed

Re: West Ham United v Everton Match thread
I would be keen to see Sakho or Fletcher start upfront this weekend, we need more pace.
Adrian
Nordtveit* Collins Reid Masuaku
Kouyate Fernandes
Feghouli Lanzini Ayew
Sakho
Bench: Randolph, Fonte, Rice, Snoddy, Quina, Carroll & Fletcher.
*Do we really have any other options?

It's the one team i hate playing, home and away, we just hardly ever do well against ****ing Everton
Doesn't even matter about Lukaku...insert Tomasz Radzinski, Duncan Ferguson, James Beattie, Kevin Campbell, Li Tie.... and any of them will all score against us in an Everton shirt

Re: West Ham United v Everton Match thread
For as long as I can remember Everton have always had someone who you can put your house on scoring against us. Used to be Saha and when he left the Yak that scored against us every time. Now it's Lakuku.
Just inevitable for all of them. I think it's a psychological thing too - they go into the game full of confidence and absolutely expecting to score. We go into the game fearing them and expecting them to score. Thus it happens. Every Single Time.

In other news
Obviously he can't play Satdee but I just wondered what your views are on Enner Valencia

Would you welcome him back or snap our hands off?
Or is he a bullet well dodged?

Re: West Ham United v Everton Match thread
That season where we went 1-0 up through Collison in the 84th minute and then lost 3-1..that day just confirmed to me that Everton have some kind of curse over us

We battered them for the entire match then they got 3 in about 5 minutes to wipe the smug grins off our faces (the *****).The Gibbins wrote:That season where we went 1-0 up through Collison in the 84th minute and then lost 3-1..that day just confirmed to me that Everton have some kind of curse over us

I'd have him back, a useful option on the bench. He has at least scored a few in the Premier League unlike Zaza, Calleri, Emenike etc.

I would welcome him back because at present he is a West Ham United player , I would prefer your lot ( or somebody else ) to sign himfreelander wrote:In other news

Perhaps Enner and your currently crocked Right Back could convince Koeman to take a current Irish international goalkeeper as part of a deal ... Kind of Buy one get one free ?

We got rid of Valencia because he was useless and replaced him with more uselessness. We cannot have him back.

Re: West Ham United v Everton Match thread
I would take Enner back at the end of his loan, he has been a very good option for Everton since he joined them on loan. I think he's a decent enough 4th striker option, something like this next season would be more than good enough if they all wanted to play for the shirt:
1 - Lacazette
2 - Carroll
3 - Sakho
4 - Valencia
5 - Fletcher

If we spend another pre-season going for this calibre of player we are going to end up with panic loans again when we find all the realistic targets are snapped up.
