By Austria, I hope that means Rapid Vienna or RB Salzburg away and not a Swiss Fourth Division team in some sport centre as usual!

Fully expecting the usual lowkey Austria trip.

I am however interested in the German trip, absolutely love the country and enjoyed the Schalke tournament a few years ago.

That is of course unless we've done a deal with prospective investors (RB) and are playing Leipzig/Salzburg.

Nothing announced/leaked yet.

Personally, I would love any of the following;
Fortuna Dusseldorf
FC Koln
Borussia Munchengladbach
Bayern Leverkusen

Imagine Bayern Munich at the Allianze arena.

Its an amazing stadium and has decent transport links

Oh to dream

Would be great but i'd imagine Bayern would be looking for slightly higher profile opposition !

1860 Munich would be better for us with the historical link of The Cup Winners Cup Final but I'd prefer to be in Cologne for a game.

The reason we played in the Allianz Arena was that we were chosen by 1860 Munich to play their first game when the stadium opened so we've been there done that. It was in 2005 if memory serves me right which was also 40 years since we won the fairs cup.

It was the same pre season we played Den Haag. I don't think we will be going back there any time soon

I have it in mind that 1860 don't play in the Allianz anymore but might be wrong on that.

I doubt we will be getting an invitation back to the Allianz any time soon .

Last time we played there , after the game, we all jumped on the train to head back into the city .One of our lot decides to yank the emergency cord to stop the train so his mates could get on .They had to send another train as they couldn't get the one we were on going again .

Twenty minutes later we're all on the next train , and, yep you guessed it , the same thing happened .

This time the wait was much longer , but the Erics finally found a train from somewhere .

Before the driver set off with the third train he had the good sense to announce it was 14km back to the city centre and this was the last available train .

Nobody pulled the cord .

I was lucky and got one of the first underground trains back so missed all that. Think there was a bit of aggro too. I remember Munich was going through a heatwave as well. Good trip.
