Another example of 'player power' within clubs nowadays..

They don't like his methods so they don't play for him......

Decent manager. Seems a strange time to get rid of someone as well.

I know their merry-go-round manager policy has done alright for them so far but they're never going to build anything at this rate.

Lack of English was the killer I think.

He got 4 points out of us though.

this is like the 2nd season running they've sacked a manager at the end of the season right? Great policy, hope karma visits them soon.

Thing is that it doesn't help long term to sack the manager every season. However there were genuine issues with him including the fact he'd still not learnt English yet.

3rd in a row!

Since Aidy Boothroyd left 8 and a half years ago they've had 11 managers from what I can tell, perhaps a couple were caretakers?

Their RB is Janmaat. We were daft not to go all in for him when Newcastle were relegated at the end of 15/16. He was Newcastle's best player that year.

Hope they go down next season, although I'm sure it's just a matter of time with their manager and player turnover.

I might get slated for this but I'd love Deeney, he might not be the most prolific but he seems to have a superb attitude, great leader, clever footballer, never injured and English.

Unfortunately he also seems quite loyal so I doubt he'd come to us.

Id agree with you Stu.

I Can't help thinking that he may have been pivotal in Mazzara's departure though.

^^^ If Deeney leaves he'd likely go to West Brom - that's where his family is.

'It's like Christmas has come early' - Watford fans react to Walter Mazzarri's sacking. The reaction has been overwhelmingly positive among Watford fans, who have wanted the Italian out for a number of months now.
