Come on..you always come across as a smart guy. Do you really think these pictures - of ice baths and players using basic equipment for what is a likely a warm up session - are really indicative of any wider issues?[/quote]

As I said could you imagine Chelsea or Manchester United going to a training camp like this pre season ?Surely you should be somewhere that has premier league standard facilities or at least championship level. But I guess this place was cheap as chips.

It's a ****ing ice bath, get a grip! Yes, you do see players from top clubs(as well as a top NFL team on the previous page) using ice baths. Stop looking for things to moan at at every opportunity and clogging up threads with your nonsense and **** quoting.

Personally I like the 'get the members of the squad that we want out in the bin' approach

I saw some of Spurs' squad on running machines with Bane's facemask from Batman on recently. Looked like they had a couple of Henry Hoovers sucked onto their cheeks.

The point is we have one of the worst training facilities in the league, which is a major contributor to our injury woes.Yet you still want defend the board not doing anything about it,do you not want our standards to improve?

4 AUG 2016 - The club’s training facilities have also been upgraded and the move to Rush Green in Romford made permanent.
As the images show, the whole place has been spruced up with the latest gym equipment, stylish locker rooms and the imprint of the club.

This year we have changed the physio and replaced him with the ex-England and Arsenal physio. Could you recommend additional changes?

If you seriously think a lick of paint and bit of new gym equipment puts us on a level with even clubs like Brighton or Swansea than you need to do some serious research. We are easily in bottom 5 when it comes to training facilities.

Even Burnley have just spent £10.6m on a new state of the art facility.Theyve been here 7 years and spent about £4m on it.Swansea also just opened new facility.just getting left behind.

It's a few pitches and a gym mate. Relax.

I've just done 10 minutes or so of googling and have found literally nothing that backs up what you're saying.
Rush green looks like a perfectly good training ground, better than the Palace training ground i've visited in the past.

To up out fitness, we should be making more use of the unique facilities we've had the good fortune to have stumbled upon.

Running track, long jump pit - even the goalies could do some javelin practice which would aid throwing the ball surely?.......

Probably be alright if we took out Sakho and Carroll, think January 2016 Liverpool had the most injuries with about 10, West Brom have the best injury record last year and they train in a car park probably.

Since 11/12 the top 5 teams in the league for days missed with injuries have been Arsenal, Man United, Everton, Liverpool and Tottenham.

Those teams apart from Everton generally play 10-15 games more a season with Europe and generally longer cup runs so it's to be expected.Anyways ive more than said my bit on it.We shall see come January how things look hopefully Llewelyn will produce some better results.I know people think I bang on,but it's only because I want to see us move on and be more professional.
