Slaven stated in his press conference that Reid should be out for 10 weeks. That will put him back into proper first team pre-season training around 17th July roughly.

Hope the top physio's work with him...

Stijn Vandenbroucke on Official Site

I thought this snippet was worth repeating

Training is the biggest thing in a football club. We believe in training as a medical and sports science team. We believe in intense training and hard training is a vaccine against injuries. But we also believe that you need to be able to recover hard and be able to be professional.

Has there been a pre season update that I have missed. I see all the senior squad travelled including injured ones minus Fonte who will be on holiday.
Who is officially injured ?

Pretty sure they are facilities in Austria at pre season training base and not Rush Green.

Happy to be corrected though.

These lads are some of the best paid players on one of the best teams in the NFL. Disgusting they've been told to go sit in granny's old outdoor bathtub....

It's an ice bath in Austria. An ice bath is an ice bath, doesn't need to be some technical piece of modern wizardry.

Can say what you like ,latest photos on official twitter make it look like we are doing pre season at some non league outfit.Tieing exercise aids to the roof and goal frame, sorry but it's absolute Mickey Mouse.could you really imagine Chelsea or man united doing this in pre season just looks so amateurish.

And then we'll have 6 players injured in Aug/Sept as we do every year
and Slav (Sam/Curbs whoever) will put on a surprised look and say it's all down to "bad luck"

It's the West Ham way!

Come on..you always come across as a smart guy. Do you really think these pictures - of ice baths and players using basic equipment for what is a likely a warm up session - are really indicative of any wider issues?
