I think Lanzini has just about done enough to edge in front for player of the season. Obiang was streaks ahead for me pre injury and Antonio was also looking to feature in the shake up. But it really comes down to Reid and Manu with the little man just pipping Winston to the post.

Carroll's over head was amazing end of. The solo effort against Boro was impressive but a better defence should/would have stopped it. Nothing was stopping the Carroll goal. The robbona assist against Watford was cheeky too! He was good wasn't he!

Hackett is a tough one. Stadium security and staff have to be up there as a result of so many match day experiences ruined. Sullivan has to ultimately be accountable for the transfer debacle. Mike Dean has to have a mention for the red card against Man Utd. I am going to have to go for stadium security and staff though after so many terrible naive calls made by them. From not handling segregation or standing situations at all well to selling bottled beer inside the ground and not expecting them to be thrown... they have just been a shambles.

Having thought about it, I have to go with the flow

Player: Lanzini
Goal: Carroll overhead
Hackett: The board, for collectively getting so many things wrong.

Lanzini. Simply the best player we've had since Devonshire
Carroll vs. Palace. Sort of like a hole in one in golf. You know that that's exactly what he was trying to do but, 99.9% of the time he'd have missed or hit it straight at the keeper.
Payet. Quelle ****? If you'll pardon my French.

Player of the Season: Obiang - remember we were losing when Reid, Lanzini and Antonio were in the side at the start of the season. Obiang came in and we started to improve and pick up points. He turned our season around for me.

Goal of the season: Carroll vs Palace (H). Just perfection. A sh*t as this season has been! seeing that goal and Payet's against Middlesbrough (H) has been a joy to watch.

Hackett of the Season: Gold, Sullivan & Brady by a country mile. Anyone that doesn't choose them over Payet, I have to question your sanity. Payet refused to play and wanted to leave. You can count on one hand the bad things he has done. To count the amount of bad things our poisonous board have done you will need to include your toes, let alone your fingers and thumbs on both hands.

Player of the Season - Adrian, three back to back clean sheets when we needed them most.

Goal of the Season - Lanzini against Tottenham, title challenge over.

Hackett of the season - the Tottenham fan that accused every club in the league of upping their game as an act of anti-Semitism, spelling it wrong in the process.

Antonio

Carroll more for the pleasure it gave my boy than anything else. Three months later and he still talks about it every day

Got to be Lanzini. Our most exciting and skilful player by a mile.

Carrol's goal, just ahead of that one against Boro...

Has to go to Payet.

The Goal of... and Hackett I always put here to determine what nominees are required... the contenders in the other cats are already known.

Gotcha!

In that case...

Player...ain't nobody

Goal...sicknote v Palace

Hackett...usually go for a ref in this category so, for his "performance" in the Victimpool game, I nominate Neil Swarbrick
