Manuel Lanzini named KUMB.com Player of the Year

Does exactly what it says on the tin - the forum for football-related discussion.

Best signing - Fernandes for me, we've got a great young player there who has played all over the pitch and settled in really well.

Worst signing - Arbeloa - just haven't seen much of him, second place Tore for similar reasons.

^^^^ This.

Seems harsh to award 'Worst Player'. They are only human and considering the roasting this place gives anyone who makes a boo-boo, no matter how slight, I did not vote that category

Player of the season - Pedro for my money. Never seems to have an off day.
Runner Up - Antonio
Best Signing - Fernades. This lad has a big future

Interestingly there's a few signings in Ayew, Feghouli and Masuaku who started slowly but are now showing real signs of settling in and could play an important role next season. Regarding Feg, I have a feeling he's going to end up being a fans favourite!

All a bit of fun. And the previous winners makes for a superb rogues gallery...

Fair enough, Skip. in that case I guess I'd have to say Arbeloa who, even though he played only a handful of minutes, each and every one was awful!

I honestly couldnt understand the fuss over payets goal. I said it at the time even before he turned out to be a helm.. i mean he didnt actually dribble around anyone, no one even tried to tackle him. The more i see it the more it looks like a dad with middle age spread playing footbal against his 8 year old kids. Carroll for me by a mile.

My Hackett of the year was Payet. Think Vardy could have made the list as well. Only player I can remember in a long time giving it to us when they scored, twice in the home game. No reason to either. Complete bell end, glad they finished below us.

I voted Antonio as HOTY but it was a close call between him and Lanzini and Reid. With a few extra games since that vote, I opted for Lanzini as KUMB Player of Season, with Winson as R/U.

Some of the others were...........

Young Player of The Year - Fernandes

Worst Player - Snodgrass

Performance of Season - Tottenham 1-0

Goal of Season - Carroll v Palace

Most missed - James Tompkins

Hackett of Year - Payet

YES!!! I would absolutely have voted for this. I was very vocal about it at the time.

Beyond everything else that went on, I felt we'd badly lost our identity this season and that really dampened my interest.

Absolutely Noble for hoty. Tough call as Reid and Collins really stood up and got counted when it mattered...got the team through some dark days midseason.
Best match was the 1-0 Swansea game. Huge pressure and the lads did the biz.
Lanzini for most improved
Oh payet, best goal as well as most disappointing.
Worst signing...zaza.

Obiang was my player of the year.

Arthur best signing.

Worst signing had to be Snodgrass. £10 million and looks about £9 million over priced.

I would say 9.9 million overpriced. He has been utter pony for us so far.

Surely Payet will stroll the Hackett award.

Tough call between Tore and Zaza for worst player/signing.
