Going into this season feeling a helluva lot better than this time 12 months ago. Top 5 is beyond us - Chelsea, Man City, Tottenham, Man Utd, Arsenal have that wrapped up. If you then chuck Liverpool & Everton into the mix there is really only one spot left in the top 8 that is up for grabs - that's where we should be aiming, top 8. I would say anything outside top 10, given our business so far, would be disappointing.

Positively looking forward to a positive 2017/2018 season. :scarfer:

Spot on Chicken Run, being saying this all along. Can't expect any higher than eighth with the dosh spent by the top 6 plus Everton who will soon have Swansea's Siggy too. So it's eighth to fourteenth again and the higher end if AC manages half the games!!! But we know he won't!

Can't see us losing 5 on the trot with these players, last year's remainers and the new signings I mean. That'll be worth seeing COYI

I've bought West Ham points on Sporting Index at 48 @ £50 a point. With struggles of last season we still got 46 so really think I should make profit at 48 with new players and a years experience playing at LS

I like your style, but this is West Ham. A few injuries and we're donald ducked.

Champions for the last 2 seasons have not been involved in European football.

The seven teams above are all involved in European Football.

As Freddie Mercury would say................. We are the Champions, my friends

Last season was bitterly disappointing. Any improvement upon that will be a relief.
Don't think we should expect miracles, just be pleasantly surprised if the side gels quickly.

if/when we have our iunjured players back and carvalho signs our team is top 6/7 surely ?

up to us fans to create the atmosphere at the bowl when we finally get back and make the thing our home.

hart
zabaleta reid ogbonna masuaka
obiang carvalho
antonio lanzini arnautovic
hernandez

subs from adrian byram cresswell fonte kouyate noble rice fernandez ayew carroll sakho martinez

This makes me positive, hopefully finish 7th or higher and a cup win.
