It used to be but then clubs said they didn't want to waste holiday dates on derby games that get a big crowd anyway. Now most grounds are full every week they should go back to local games but that would require the PL to think of the fans.

If it is it won’t be for TV, BT have Burnley Spurs at 5.30 on the Saturday and the PL listened to the outrage and promised no Christmas Eve games.

There was a whisper that we would be moved at Westfield’s/Police request but that seems inconceivable now at this last stage (doesn’t it?)

Anyway the Geordies will have booked their transport after the TV announcement so I can’t see it

Pinky

showed your observations to the missus

alas the sitting in the car option whilst I go to the game was not well received

however she fully concurs that an all expenses paid trip with one of her girlfriends over NYE to somewhere warm and with shops (apparently inside westfield stratford whilst I attended yet another game was not an attractive choice !) will adequately compensate for not being with me as a result of my refusal to book anything whilst I wait for those charlatans at SKY to decide the fixtures over that weekend.

she also asked if she could use you as a character witness in any future divorce to evidence my unwillingness to compromise over anything that might detract from me going to west ham games.

on a more serious note I have a mate coming from overseas who wants to go to see us at spurs and needs to confirm his flights and hotel but cant as the fixture date and time is not confirmed and the date impacts on his little boy and his school holidays as to whether he's see 1 or 2 games.

do these twats understand that many supporters need to make travel arrangements a little earlier than 6 weeks beforehand.

As much as I generally hate them, the 1230 Chelsea KO has done me a right favour

I don't care if they make changes Friday, sunday monday whatever

its the lateness of the change I'm bothered about, how can people with real lives make arrangements at relatively short notice, some of us have commitments that we occasionally need to honour

Not quite true. They do understand, they simply don't care.
