As neither West Ham or Man Utd have a game this coming midweek why wasn't the match rearranged for then?

Pretty sure PL can't clash with CL games unless there are no other options for the games to be played and UEFA will then grant special permission

"The remaining postponed matches will be confirmed when the broadcast selections for Matchweek 37 have been finalised.

These are due to be announced no later than Tuesday, 3 April, 2018."

Announcements due today, providing us and Man United play on Saturday for GW37, I can see our game with them being on Wednesday 9th May before Everton on the Sunday.

You did not and there is no announcement. WHUISA will get this issue raised at the next FSF/Premier League meeting if its not an agenda item already.

Do the words "no later than" no longer have their literal and legal meaning

Sanchoz or any other whuisa bod

Could you recommend to fsf or whatever organisation that they start a petition online which I'm pretty sure would go viral very quickly (like the one for wembley fc) asking fans to complain at the complete disregard for supporters at the lateness of changes to fixtures and the ridiculous situation where fans are expected to travel the length of the country with little and often no public transport options which bearing in mind the country's obsession with cutting emissions must be a political issue that could be used

I'm convinced that such a petition would cause great embarrassment and would eventually lead to change

I'd sign for sure.

There are certain jobs where shift patterns have to be confirmed before TV confirm their schedules. I know a fireman who has stopped going because of this.

I bet our Club haven't said boo about the issue.

I'd also sign for sure. These type of delays are a proper hassle for me as meant to book work meetings abroad in the week and either can't book now or take the risk of missing the game if the dates then clash.

One such petition already exists (and started by the FSF):

And I know it does not affect us but Leyton Orient and Macclesfield Town have been given 11 days notice of a fixture change by BT Sport:

https://twitter.com/The_FSF/status/981446500206153728

Match going fans don't matter one jot.

Disgusting that, and the only people picking up the bill are the loyal fans :thdn:

Clubs should be doing more.

Beyond ridiculous...............

Boils my p*ss when Sky/BT match commentators go on about (say) "how difficult it was for Newcastle fans to get here to Brighton for this 11.30 kick-off".
Well who's f*cking fault is that ? -- your employers !

the orient change is wholly unacceptable.

any town fans that have booked later trains are completely xxxed - that cannot be right under any circumstances

makes my blood boil

ALL fans with teams in whatever division need to unite against this once and for all
