I thought he played well at Watford and improved on that again tonight. Not sure what Moyes has said to him exactly but he certainly seems to have pulled his finger out.

Started in Bilics last game in my opinion, came on as sub against the scousers and put a good shift in.
Nobody really noticed as they were too busy booing.

I think a lot of us fans can be guilty of making a judgement on a player and then sticking by it regardless - without recognising that players can be poor yet have good games or vice versa.

I think we form an opinion of a player and then try and justify that opinion by seeing things that aren't really there, ignoring the positives and concentrating on the negatives (and vice versa).
Objective reviews and analysis of players goes out of the window because we are all so desperate to be right and to be proved we are right.
Its like one big show-off competition to prove that we all know more about football then the next man.
This forum at times becomes one big pis*ing competition.

I think a lot of the improveent is down to fitness and organisation, everything get's easier when you're fitter and not running around chasing shadows.

Me too - it obviously meant something to him today. He's had a poor start here obviously but there is quality there and we need the likes of him to perform if we are to get out of this situation. We don't give players as much time to settle as we used to. We should.

When he jumped in the crowd I thought, "Great! He'll do something else silly like kick a ball away, or tug a shirt and get sent off just when things were looking up for him/us.

So glad he didn't.
