Re: Marko Arnautovic Signs
Broken bones hurt. You don’t know where on the thumb, or how bad the break is, plus he asked to go back on so how people are calling him out I don’t know.
Seems once our fans have an opinion nothing can change it and everything gets changed to suit it.

Nowhere on the thumb should make you roll around like a baby. He’s a pussy

Re: Marko Arnautovic Signs
No wonder Moyes didn't want to put him back on the way he was spasming on the floor. I honestly thought he'd snapped him arm in half and would need the paramedics.

Don't think it was just his thumb; apparently there was significant damage as he pulled it out from his arseh*le.Marky wrote:

Slightly different with the adrenaline running through a boxers body mid-fight.Jumby wrote:Boxers break their hands during fights and carry on fighting until the end, he breaks his thumb and anyone would think he needed his arm amputated.

Re: Marko Arnautovic Signs
I thought he showed enough to keep his place. We had many worse players on the night. If Antonio is still out, wouldn't mind seeing Arnie on the right again, and Masuaku on the left.

Yep, I agree with this - would be exactly what I'd do, shifting Manu into the middle.Burnley Hammer wrote:I thought he showed enough to keep his place. We had many worse players on the night. If Antonio is still out, wouldn't mind seeing Arnie on the right again, and Masuaku on the left.

Re: Marko Arnautovic Signs
My guess was that he had dislocated his thumb and that the leg movement was in response to it being re-set on the pitch without any anesthesia...Anyone else remember Rob Green dislocating his finger? IIRC he just stood to the side of the goal (BMU) and had it 'relocated' whilst still standing. Maybe thumbs are more painful? I once dislocated my little toe. It was at right angle to the foot. Only hurt when being 'bashed back in' with a hardback book.
Let's hope he can play on Friday. Watford was - in a somewhat limited field - his best match.

Re: Marko Arnautovic Signs
I thought he played alright, and along with Ogbonna was the only player to just about come out of the game with a bit of credit. The electrocuted salmon impression was unnecessary though, Hard to imagine Bonzo doing that, even if someone chopped a foot off.

Re: Marko Arnautovic Signs
He was probably just trying to keep up with the Watford players writhing on the ground, clutching their face, from having their toes stepped on.
Thought they were despicable.
And f*** me, we sure are ready to turn on one of our own aren't we? Become a favorite past time on here.

He was rolling around in agony long before the trainer came on.prophet:marginal wrote:My guess was that he had dislocated his thumb and that the leg movement was in response to it being re-set on the pitch without any anesthesia....
never had a dislocated thumb though so not sure how much it hurts.
Broken an arm playing football, and it hurt, not like that though, you mainly try and lay still after a break as the movement tends to hurt..
Rupturing cruciate ligaments is a different matter though, its horribly painful..

Re: Marko Arnautovic Signs
So what was that load of ****ing histrionics about? What kind of pain warranted the convulsions? It’s no wonder nothing has been said about the injury...there isn’t one.HammerMan2004 wrote:Fit for Leicester apparently. No break.
Re: Marko Arnautovic Signs
I think Arnie tried to fool the ref and did it in such a patheticly dramatic, childish way that he made every one watching think he had snapped his arm in half, which is an irony, because if he had he wouldnt have reacted the way he did. I hope he has been told never, ever do anything so ridiculous again.

What a pussy. - all that fuss, you’d of expected at least a broken wrist.
Re: Marko Arnautovic Signs
Ridicolous comments here or on twitter. Does anybody have an idea, how much it could hurt, if a player of around 85 kilogram jumps with that on your hand..
