stats aside (mean f*** all), you say you don't know what arnie's pros are, and because of that you wouldn't spend more than 10 million.

i thought you meant that you hadn't seen enough of him to know what his strengths are. so putting a value on a player you don't know is baffling.
if you've seen a lot of him and think he brings nothing, why spend 10 million on him?

What he did on saturday wasn't fire in his belly it was a snide cheap shot. Fire in your belly is what a number of the rest showed to get back to 2-2.

The challenge on him was a cheap shot.

He had a red mist moment, it must not happen again but it least he was fired up. I'm not as tetchy on this as some supporters are.

We've had many club legends who liked the occasional red card.

the problem's not the fire in his belly, it's the farts between his ears.

I don't mind fire but its how it is channeled. He took the easy way out, for me it reinforces the impression I had of him watching Stoke. I hope i am wrong and he is a massive success here but I'm not convinced he is what you need if things aren't going well.

Marco Boogers had fire in his belly in his second game for us too. Maybe it's a Marco/Marko thing.

I'd much prefer it if he used the brain in his head.

Not writing him off, but I sincerely hope the manager and rest of the team let him know that they can't have his ego letting the side down every time he thinks someone's got one up on him.

I still think he was reacting to being elbowed himself. Trouble is teams will now try to wind him up and hope for a similar reaction.

Bilic is still fuming.

I bet that's about as scary as being attacked by a neutered care bear on ecstasy.

Hasn't The Terminator picked up his fair share of silly/rush of blood red cards over the years? Can certainly recall a couple of similar ones for Stoke.

Seeing as we got back to 2-2 with 92 minutes on the clock does he want to save some fury for our "experienced" right back who inexplicably shoved someone in a nothing situation to throw away a hard earned point?

Fired up about what though? The fact that we were losing?
Nope, it was because he felt he had had a bad challenge a few minutes earlier, in other words its all about him not the team.
I am all for passion that leads to the odd yellow/red card, but getting sent off for behaving like a petulant spoilt child just insults all those that spend a lot of money supporting West Ham.
What worries me most about this guy is that he doesnt appear on the face of it to be a team player, if that is the case then it will end in tears.
On the plus side he does have plenty of time now to put this behind him, stop behaving like a complete fanny, and get on with being a footballer
