Re: Javier Hernandez Signs
Most important stat of all...
Hernandez has scored more times against Chelsea with 8 goals than against any other Team in his entire career.
He's our very own Lukaku hoodoo against the rent boys. :raver:

Re: Javier Hernandez Signs
Unlike many a West Ham striker, this chap does know where the goal is.
Or at least, he did up until now....

Re: Javier Hernandez Signs
Delighted bit surprised he only signed for three years. But he could be a legend.

His old man looks a Don. Maybe he'll head up a consortium to buy us out.

Thrilled to bits with this one. If it works out, we've got a real corker on our hands.
Any pictures of him coming up to Carroll's armpit yet?

I'm not at all. My take on it is because he's been given £140k a week and it's the Boards decision to only offer 3 years for now because it's so much money. God forbid he doesn't work out, the thought of him being on a 5/6 year deal could cripple us when trying to offload his big wages if he gets injured or poor form near the end. It protects the Club if anything.
And worse case scenario, even if it's for 3 years, they'll be 3 quality years service which is still a long time in football, as long as he stays injury free and we can enjoy him for a while yet.

Re: Javier Hernandez Signs
Credit to the Dave's 16 million for a striker of his reputation is brilliant work considering the barmy fees being paid.

Re: Javier Hernandez Signs
Bienvenido
He said Bilic was a massive reason, that he spoke to him already a while back and been chasing him ever since! Very clear now why he wanted to stay away from Iheanacho.....
Also his dad played with the number 14, hence why his favourite number. Pedro, just do the lad a favour!

Imagine now just being able to relax with Carroll a bit and throw him on for 25/30 minutes when needed.simonirons wrote:We have a fit striker who actually scores goals...

Re: Javier Hernandez Signs
Not trying to piss on everyone's chips, and obviously he is better than what we have, but my prediction is he won't get into double figs for league goals
Hopefully I will be proved wrong (as I often am) but I called Carroll correctly when everyone else was over the moon
