Re: Javier Hernandez Signs
He seems to be on a different level to many of our players, he still has a decent goal scoring record for us too and works his socks off. He should be the last player we have any intention of selling and we picked him up for a bargain. He will easily score 15 for us this season, probably more.

Re: Javier Hernandez Signs
Moyes had him 4th or 5th choice at Man U when he was good. A fox in the box he is. Thats where i want him, in the box. Not using his workrate in midfield or on the wing. He should be a pain in the ass for defenders chasing them down. He should be chasing lost causes and getting to one in five of them. With the ball he should be toe poking scrappy goals from inside the box. Play to his strengths

So did Fergie. Only one of them gets criticised for their decisiondjbubbles wrote:Moyes had him 4th or 5th choice at Man U when he was good

Fergie always brought him on when Man Utd needed to get a goal, and for which he always seemed to score.Rio wrote:

Re: Javier Hernandez Signs
Welbeck, Rooney and Van Persie were all smashing them in during Moyes' season, Hernandez still managed 1400 minutes under him.
Rooney - 19 Goals, 22 Assists in 3300 minutes
RVP - 18 Goals in 2000 Minutes
Welbeck - 10 goals in 2200 minutes
Hernandez - 9 goals in 1400 minutes

Re: Javier Hernandez Signs
The bloke played 153 games (103 in PL) in 4 seasons for Man U, if that categorises him as 4/5th choice then I don't know what's next. He certainly wasn't number 1 striker but played more than his fair share under Fergie and played a huge part for them. His first 2 seasons he was 2nd top scorer for then and 3rd season he was 3rd.Rio wrote:So did Fergie. Only one of them gets criticised for their decision

Actually, the owner of Chivas is Jorge Vergara who is only worth 1.5 billion, so essentially the same as the dildo brothers.sizza wrote:

The real Man City of Mexico is TIGRES, owned by the multinational corporation CEMEX, who have 35 billion in assets and produced 16 billion in revenue this year alone.
Re: Javier Hernandez Signs
If we're being pedantic Sullivan is a billionaire (and Golds wealth) is due to the value of West Ham which is considerably higher than Chivas, taking this into account Jorge Vergara how more wealth alone than Sullivan and Gold combined.BostonHammer wrote: Actually, the owner of Chivas is Jorge Vergara who is only worth 1.5 billion, so essentially the same as the dildo brothers.

I should have read the whole article then, cause i saw the title of the article and it said Mexican striker, and in its subtitles was mentioned whufc as hashtag. Probably just to generate more clicks. Didn't open it cause i really think those are things i prefer not to read much about (allways makes me feel uncomfortable)Fyodor wrote:
The player you're referring to is actually Jesus Corona, the winger out of Porto. He's the one whose girlfriend had a miscarriage.
Hernandez and his actress wag aren't expecting.

We've been observing the same thing Stacker. Never thought I'd see the day West Ham fans not rating Hernandez.
And as for his most recent comments, yet again he goes out of his way to scotch spurious rumours. We should count our lucky stars we've got such a player.

Yeah, who needs (pro rata) 12 goals a season from a genuine specialist in the role, eh?RayleighHammer23 wrote:Feel like I'm in the minority but Hernandez has been crap. Its not a big loss imo
Let's stick with the sicknotes and, err, Martinez.

Re: Javier Hernandez Signs
Indeed, the guy is just being let down in a bang average side playing badly. Good attacking players like Hernandez shine in an attacking style team. We haven't played good attacking football since he got here yet he has still scored some goals, will that change under Moyes? Nah, so he will go come the summer. No one wants to be a striker in a Moyes team, not unless you are Tim Cahill.
He has 4 PL goals to his name in a team playing as badly as us, that is impressive, the only people who have scored more than him are in the top 6 sides in the league & Jamie Vardy.

I'd have signed for Hitler for £140K a week and then done the minimum I could get away with and be as miserable as sin about it.............DDHammer wrote:

Aye. And had he been playing in a side doing well, he'd be closer to double what he's already on now. A Striker who isn't on Penalty duties which gets ignored whereas the same can't be said for many other strikers who enjoy such a luxury. Not that we get any penalties these days anyway.

Re: Javier Hernandez Signs
Bizarre to me that some are complaining about a player who despite being played out of position, and yanked off early left and right still has over a third of our league goals. Beyond that he's supposedly a fox in the box only, but he's 3rd on the squad in key passes per game and has drawn fouls nearly twice as often as the 2nd highest rate on the squad.
Chicharito is still terrific, if we could provide him with better service 15-20 goals would be easily within reach.

Re: Javier Hernandez Signs
If our ambition isn't to be able to effectively include a player like Hernandez in our lineup, then we may as well go down.

Thats the thing. He shouldnt be 3rd in the squad for key passes. He should be getting on the end of those key passes.Cellar-door wrote:Bizarre to me that some are complaining about a player who despite being played out of position, and yanked off early left and right still has over a third of our league goals.
