If he’s on £140k surely it’s only going to be clubs in China or MLS who will be willing to match that. A move to the MLS might well make sense for a Central American.

He was a good signing at the time, but not value for money. Just how much of that is his fault, or the fault of the club, I do not know, but overall, I think we should've seen more goals from him and don't really care now whether he stays or go's

Compared to our hammer horrors of hitmen that came before, I’d argue he’s been a fairly decent return of investment.

I compare all that play here for us against Carlton, both good and bad.

Hector Herrera and Jesus "Tecatito" Corona are both set to feature for the Mexico national team for the first time since the 2018 World Cup, while Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez returns to coach Gerardo "Tata" Martino's squad after missing the Gold Cup.

The Argentine named 31 players on Tuesday in an expanded squad made up of a blend of experienced and younger players for games against the United States (Sept. 6 in East Rutherford, N.J.) and Martino's former side Argentina (Sept. 10 in San Antonio, Texas).

I feel like someone needs to change your tapes, hammerman11. At least, put a different record on here or there. Posting the same thing about the same players everyday can't do you any good.

Pretty sure he only gets a reboot every transfer window, to load in some new player names and values.

(This place would be lesser without you, hammerman11)

^^ So how does that work then? Is he ****ing an injury to avoid us selling him? Or have we told him to fake an injury so Borussia Mönchengladbach won't swoop in and steal him from us? Wouldn't it be easier for any party to simple state we have a contract, see you next year?

It's quite ridiculous isn't it. I've blocked him like I block spam from coming into my email inbox. Useless drivel that contributes nothing to the forum.

Daily Mail (of all places) saying he’s handed in a transfer request ahead of an £8m move to Sevilla.

I would say that Mexico is in North America , James though Guadalajara [ where Hernandez was born ] is relatively near to Central America .

Perhaps one of our US posters could enlighten us further ?

I've had him on block for a couple of years because he was ruining the transfer threads but people keep quoting him :asleep:

Something about him that I never warmed to, however, he always seems to pop up with goals when we need them.
Selling him now will leave us very short up top.

I know 99% of footballers are but he's a bit of a mercenary which is why I've never took to him, not a dig at him but we're just a club to him and paying the best wages he can get really, we love it when a foreign player/non-academy gets us like an Adrian, it's almost why Hernadez is stuck here as most clubs can't afford/won't pay his wages
