Thanks scratchy!Scratchy wrote:
Possibly the least informed post I've ever seen. You'd be amazed if a person who got 28 goals in 54 games in the Bundesliga gets near 10 goals for us. So if you'd be amazed by him getting about 8 goals, what do you think he's likely to get? About 3 or 4? Would love to know what you're basing that on, but I suspect it's based on **** all.
Based on what I saw of his decline in his last two years with Man U.
When he first came to the Premier League, his movement was world class, pacy too. He terrorised us in one game but slowly both of those fell away.
Now its possible he has rediscovered that part of his game at 29, he scored goals in Germany but this is West Ham.
In my eyes we turned down a sure fire hit in Iheanacho for a mediocre option,
I hope to be proved wrong.
Happy to have a pint with you that he won't score 10 league goals next season.

Re: Javier Hernandez Signs
How is Iheanacho a sure-fire thing compared to Hernandez? He's only 29 you're talking about him like he's 35.
He will be massive for us. Our poor finishing cost us massively multiple times last season.
0-0 against Man Utd, Antonio goes clean through, poor finish, Man Utd take the lead shortly after. 2-0 defeat.
0-0 against Stoke, Calleri tries a Rabona, misses.
1-0 down against Liverpool, ball falls to Ayew, misses a golden chance to equalise.
3-2 defeat to Leicester where we missed countless chances to equalise.
1-1 with Middlesbrough, 0-0 against Everton, 1-0 defeat to Leicester, and many more last season.
Hernandez presented with half a chance would have changed the outcome of lots of those games.

Wow.
First time I've checked the site since last nights news, and absolutely amazed by some of the negativity surrounding this signing.
£16m for a proven premier league, la liga and bundesliga and UCL goal scorer or....
£25m for a young prospect who scores tap in's once his teammates have demolished a side 3-0 already and will be bought back for £30m just to be sold on (so at a LOSS over wages) if he's any good.
We shouldn't even be debating Kelechi anymore.
We have Hernandez, lets get behind him!

Re: Javier Hernandez Signs
Just the last page of that thread was like experiencing opposite world. I learnt that,
- Man United and their dabbing fans think we are cringey
- A bloke who hates us might go and watch us next season
- Ander Herrera isn't a scrote and is actually one of the most likeable players

Anyone know what he's like taking a Pen? Noble has a great record but I like the idea of our star striker taking them, push the numbers up a bit for him!

Possibly the most "Manchester United" thing ever. They trains to Manchester will be packed on the first Sunday of the year with the majority of supporters from both clubs coming in from London.belgohammer wrote:

Re: Javier Hernandez Signs
Man U fans in being arrogant and deluded shocker.
The majority seem to think he was very good for them, were sad to see him leave and would have taken him back now, which speaks volumes.
We just need to try not to injure him.
