Predicted Premier league Table

Postby bubbles500 on Fri Aug 04, 2017 11:54 am

Not sure if there's an annual thread for this.Maybe little competition £2 book token for most correct haha.I don't see us making anymore major signings maybe couple squad players.I think our season is hugely dependant on injuries.Especially Hernandez lanzini and Reid.If we can keep these 3 fit for majority I think we will do ok.Well here is my take on things.
1 city
2 chels
3 spurs
4 Man U
5pool
6 Arse
7 Everton
8 Leicester
9 Us
10 saints
11watford
12 Swansea
13 palace
14 Newcastle
15 Bournemouth
16 brighton
17 hudd
18 wba
19 stoke
20 burnley
Tbh that bottom 10 could finish in any order and will most likely be covered by very few points.

I reckon you could be right on Stoke this year although it would take a miracle for Huddersfield to stay up he got promoted with loanees

Very unlikely all three promoted teams will stay up.

Not going to predict the whole table but...

Top four:
1. Man City
2. Man Utd
3. Chelsea
4. Liverpool

Our position:
10. West Ham

Bottom three:
18. Brighton
19. Huddersfield
20. Burnley

Burnley had crazy home form last season almost freakish if that goes back to a normal level they are in deep ****.WBA tailed off badly last season and often you find that can carry over to new season. And stoke been on decline for couple seasons imo .I just think all 3 promoted will do ok so that leaves established vulnerable.

Interesting to see so many have Stoke for relegation.......I've been saying that to friends for a few weeks and the general concensus from them is, that I'm talking rubbish. I also think Watford will struggle this year.

1. Man Utd
2. Chelsea
3. Man City
4. Spurs

12. West Ham

18. Huddersfield
19. Stoke
20. Brighton

I honestly don't see Manchester United have majorly improved. For me Lukaku is a down grade on ibra. The new CB looked very dodgy in pre season and matic is a bit meh.For me they lack quality full backs a class act in CM and that bit of stardust in final third.Watford got that new manager totally forgotten his name from hull, but he looks class act think they will be ok.

I'm other way round mate.................I don't think Man City have improved. Aguero & De Bruyne paper over many cracks for me, and that backline of an injured/aging Kompany, the dodgy Stones and poor Otamendi in front of keepers that are shaky, reeks of conceding goals. Chelsea have sold PL proven Matic and (soon to go) Costa and replaced them with players who don't know the league. Spurs have a brilliant starting eleven, that's it. Arsenal yet again buy a player they don't need, look to be losing the one they do need, and still don't buy decent defenders.

This Lukaku thing is a myth pedalled by people who hang on every word from Jamie Redknapp on sky. Proven goalscorer - in an average to good side - will bang them in at OT.

I don't like Jose, but cant see many teams beating them......they went on a massive 20 odd game unbeaten run last season but didn't have the striker to turn draws into wins.

Cant see past them tbh

3 Arsenal
4 Man U

7 West Ham

18 Swansea
19 Huddersfield
20 Brighton

Think i'm being a little optimistic for us finishing seventh when we currently only have 1 proper striker who's fit, but you never know! :crest:

Actually think City are most improved in areas needed to.Keeper looks very decent could easily be worth 10 pts alone.Walker mendy Danilo are all absolute quality ,agree they prob need another CB but I think they will get one.Not even seen Bernardo in pre season and gundegun still to come back.I'd say one quality CB away from being serious CL contenders.

Man City will just out score everyone. Utd will be better. Chelsea have dropped a bollock with Costa imo. I'm not sure Morata will score as many as he does. Spurs will suffer with Wembley for a bit.

Man Utd
Chelsea
Liverpool
Spurs
Arsenal
Everton
West Ham
Leicester
Bournemouth
Cystal Palace
Soton
Newcastle
Watford
West Brom
Stoke
