The top seven should be the same as last season.
Man City, Man Utd, Liverpool, Everton, Chelsea, Tottenham, Arsenal.

Rarely has a team in the Premier League been able to compete on both the domestic and European front.
Imo both Arsenal and Everton should go all in for the Europa League, as Man Utd did last season. So both of them should be outside the top four.

Chelsea was very luck last season, as they only had the domestic competiton to focus on, and we dropped them out of the mini-cup, giving them ample time to focus on the league in the early stage of the season, when they made crucial changes to the tactics employed. Imo, they will focus on Europe. Same goes for Liverpool, if they qualify.

So that leaves Man City, Man Utd and Tottenham. They will go all in for the league title. If Tottenham can retain the rest of the squad, and bring in another few players, they'll go second. If Guardiola has more luck with injuries and choice of keeper , they'll win the league.

One if the newly promoted teams always do well. If Newcastle don't buy, I can't seen them being the surprise team. Rather Brighton.

Swansea, Burnley, Huddersfield to go down.

Watford, Leicester, Bournemouth, Newcastle, Stoke, WBA, Crystal Palace, Brighton, Southampton and us in the Mini-League. We'll snatch third.

Don't see much use in creating a table before the transfer window closes, as a lot could happen between now and then for all teams. I see us finishing anywhere from 6th-15th, where 6th means we keep the core players, lose the fringe players, and add some quality replacements over the next 3+ weeks, and 15th is the squad stays as is, but we lose Lanzini (which I hope isn't the case).

Will be interesting to see how the next few weeks pan out for us especially, but also for all of the clubs around us (Stoke, Soton, Everton, Leicester, etc.) I'm cautiously optimistic for the season! :scarfer:

I think that the top four will be Citeh, Man U, Chelsea and Spurs. Of those, I'd probably lump my money on Citeh but, there isn't much to choose between them.

Arsenal, the Bindippers and Everton will occupy the next three places and I think the order will depend on how Everton's new players bed in. I could see them pushing on the door of the top four if all goes well.

I think we can be the best of the rest. I honestly don't think we've got much chance of finishing above eighth but, it will be a below par season if we finish in the bottom half. The Saints, Stoke, West Brom and Leicester haven't done too much.

At the bottom, Huddersfield just aren't equipped for the Premier League and Watford are a complete clusterfuck of a club. Swansea seem to be doing a Sunderlandesque 'let's flirt with relegation' act and may well get caught out this season. I think Newcastle, Brighton and Bournemouth will stay up but, won't threaten the top half.

In short, business as usual - we don't need to be great, we just need to be less bad than 10 or 12 other clubs.

A lot of people reckon Huddersfield are bouncing straight back down. They're my dark horse to do well and climb away from the drop. Their manager is quality and he's bought well in the market adding to what they've got.

Lost four of their top 5 scorers, squad will have to play every Thursday (possibly) and their first 5 games are shockers. Koeman will be aiming to grind out 1 nils week after week.

I've backed them for bottom half in the expectation that the odds will have tumbled by the end of September and can lay it off at that point.

I'd be surprised to see them top 7. Bournemouth might be the surprise there.

I'd guess 8th-10th at the end of the season.

I think they'll stay up too. They've bought quite well with players who fit their system and can see Mounie scoring a few for them.

Top 6 picks itself it's all about what order they'll come in.

Burnley have had a shocking window so far, I don't think Swansea have bought well either and will struggle if they lose Sigurdsson, but as he is still there that could be enough to keep them up for now.

Stoke's business hasn't impressed me, Gray and Deeney could link up well at Watford but their defence looks 'orrible.
