Zaza v Calleri

Postby Crouchend_Hammer on Mon Aug 21, 2017 3:44 pm

Interesting to see fixture computer threw these two together on the first week of the La Liga season....
Both started, Zaza scored in a one nil win

No idea what thread to add this to which is why i started a new one.
Feel free to lock, I only commented b/c of the quirk of the fixtures, not to keep an ongoing tally!

this season, 1 in 1 so far.

If this was a penalty shootout we'd be waiting for the conclusion for a while...

Bubbles would most probably blame the club for how poor both were.

I'm gonna say that Zaza just shades it, as he had a nice beard and made slightly better runs.

1-1

Calleri netted for Las Palmas in a home defeat to Atletico Madrid

Zaza didn't score for Valencia, but played very well (what I heard anyway) in a 2-2 draw away to Real Madrid

I think that's a little harsh PP. Both of them just not suited to English football and lost confidence the longer they played without scoring.

In addition, Valencia has had an all-action start at Tigres
4 league starts, 5 goals and a sending off

Anyone willing to have a bet for the BMF that Zaza will score more goals this season then Calleri (not including internationals)?

£10

Now 2 goals each

Calleri bagged his 2nd of the season in a 3-1 away win at Malaga

Loic Remy also scored for Las Palmas

I guess the real bet would be that either or both of them score more than our Mexican.
