I watched the game and to be honest I was hoping to see some Payet magic but instead Marseille were all over the place and torn apart by a team who were sitting 2nd from bottom of the league. Still I think it should be clear to everyone by now that Payet left primarily because Sullivan built him up, lied to him and then stitched him up. It's sad that he's gone back there as he could really have kicked on with us and achieved things but he's gone and we've moved on.

There may be an element of truth to it but like Wildkard says it looked like it had far more to do with his own failings than anything else and it's showing again as he struggles to regain his International place and is struggling at Marseille to get them going again as their Captain. Who's he going to blame now, their Chairmen, Manager, players? No doubt he'll have to think soon about playing the "dickhead" card if Marseille poor form continues till January....

Wasn't Payet left out of the France squad because of injury?

Interesting this stuff about Monsieur Snake. We all were right to be angry about his conduct but had his form dipped with us like it has with Marseilles, then we have possibly saved shed loads of wages for a liability.

The Champions League has started with a bang tonight!

Spurs 2-1 up after 15 minutes. It's a cracking game too, Dortmund's pressing and attacking play is beautiful to watch, their keeper has had a mare so far though!

Man City 2-0 up

Liverpool 1-0 down

Went to QPR v Millwall last night incognito. Nice to see them let a 2 goal lead slip.

A poor 12,600 attendance.

67k attendance of which at least 5k Dortmund ?

Maybe their long ST waiting list got lost on the Metropolitan line ?

(Have to admit they look good tonight though.....albeit, shocking goalkeeping from Dortmund)
