Tottenham making Everton look nothing, Everton too slow in the final third Rooney, Sandro, Sigurssdon

I thought today's match between Everton and Spurs would put Rooney back in the driving seat

Marco Silva ain't going to be at Watford for long. Curious why Southampton didn't pursue him tbh.

Listening to Everton v Spuds on the vehicle wireless. The commentators describing the way Everton are playing and their attitude sounding very like a West Ham performance.

What's happening to Everton is what happened to us last season with regards to signing too many players all at one time and playing them together from the off hoping for them to click straight away. I'm never a fan of sweeping changes like almost half a new team added to a squad and why I was keen for us to not go ott again bringing in a whole fact of new players again. You need continuity and add genuine quality bit by bit to progress a la Spurs as an example.

I notice Southampton have failed to score again at home, only us. Eh?

Him at LB and Silva manager?!

Bit concerning that Albion beat Albion. Didn't think the Seagulls would score.

Nordtveit playing centre back for Hoffenhein today, 2-0 up against Bayern Munich. They're heading joint top after 3 games. I know alot of our fans were relieved to see the back of him, but can't be half as much as he is to be gone.
