Jamie Redknapp just said an interesting stat, we have the highest long ball passes in the league.

I think Burnley got lucky, Palace had the chances to win the game, but it's not happening for them at the moment. As much as our pathetic performance at Newcastle has me worried, I'll wait and see what happens in the next few games. Hopefully after ten games we'll have more than three teams that we will feel comfortable about finishing above.

Newcastle with a fortunate lead, both teams look woeful though, if we can't finish above teams like that we deserve to go down.

Agreed, I said something similar on the way home when Newcastle dismantled us two weeks ago

I have Newcastle down as certain for the drop and we need to make up 6 points on them already. God help us.

Really don't see what the fuss over Renato Sanchez is. Looks a lot like Noble to me

Everton were at home with a full squad and if Dele Alli and Sissoko could have finished, it could have been double digits, even Shearer said on MOTD it should have been 7 or 8. You can't blame that on not having Lukaku.
Yes city were very good, and Liverpool were down to 10 men, but they could have been down 3-0 by the time of the sending off. When we were 2-0 down with 10 men away to Southampton we battled back to 2-2 and were unlucky to concede the last minute penalty.

The difference between us and them is that our owners undermine the manager inviting more pressure and crisis talk and then create a PR crisis of their own, and on top of that, they have eliminated the home advantage by selling our home and moving us to a soulless toilet bowl.

Anyone watching Olympic Marseille? They're getting turned over at home by Rennes, currently 2-0 down. Payet is captain and must be wondering how and why the fff@k he left us to go back there.

Marseille are all over the place and down 3-0 at home to the team who were 2nd from bottom of the league and hadn't got a win all season up to now. Looks like Payet learned something during his time at WHU!

Only saw the motd2 highlights but on that showing he's either not match fit or a lazy cvcc who doesn't like running.
And I wonder if Newcastles' Joselu has found both of his 'minerals' yet?
