One mistake after another at Palace. Football has gone bananas, but we knew that. :?

FDB - Good decision to sack him , bad decision to ever hire him in the first place .

Dreadful decision to recruit the dinosaur Hodgson , a Manager who has lost the plot completely .

I guess they hired De boer as they wanted to change their philosophy and play attractive football like the Ajax method.

But he didn't bring much in the way of his own coaches. Sammy Lee is still there, as well as Allardyce's Head of Performance, and Martyn Margetson as goalkeeping coach.

I met him a couple of times at UP when he was England manager, he was nervous as a kitten and came across as very confused.

We're probably going to be fishing from the same pool if they sack Bilic.

That ^^

I think they realised quite early that he was a mistake.

Naturally, the results have proved the final straw.

I would have given it to Dougie Freedman.

Isn't he their DOF or something? Maybe they will be move him to manager, then they can come and take Sulli of our hands to be their new one??

Indeed he is...

He gets Palace.

Hodgson marginally the better option at getting them out of the rut than De Boer. But it won't be pretty. They may well be looking at 0 points from 8 games.

He won four successive league titles in Holland and now he's sacked after four league games in England.

At least that rules Hodgson out of getting the job here :)

Palace were unlucky vs Burnley. Well, at least De Boer was, they created enough chances. Scott Dann missed from 5 yards ffs.

The good news is he's available as a possible replacement for when Bilic goes...

It want 5 yards mate, it was 1 yard

Whatever the merits etc of this sacking, I hope the Daves can follow suit. De Boer was on the back of 4 games, we have been bad in far more.

Should never have appointed him, he was shown up at Inter, winning at Ajax was a bit like Celtic but harder.

I still don't their first eleven is as good as people go on about, the keeper is rubbish, midfielder is okay and Benteke is very moody at times, they have no depth.

He deserved to be sacked yesterday for playing Lee and Puncheon

I know someone well inside the England camp , confused would be a polite description they have of him .

Hodgson is good at getting **** to over achieve, he has a history of that, give him a job where he's expected to do something a bit more and he f**ks it up, again, he has a history of that. I reckon he could save Palace. Shame.
