The corresponding game was my favorite win last season.
Would love us to do it again!

I was quoting last seasons (rather spectacular) opposition view, but that's just semanticsCarlton'sGoal wrote:

High standards to maintain
West Ham have only conceded once in their last four home games against Tottenham

Re: West ham United v Tottenham Hotspur: Match Thread
Looking forward to this game, i always get nervous watching it.
it does make me laugh nowadays when Spurs say they don't care and this is our cup final. In one sense its laughable because they obviously do care, but secondly i find it frustrating how football fans in general have got so far up their own arse nowadays they try to claim they don't care about London Derbies....

It's defo my cup final. I'm happy to admit it , I ****ing hate the flash pricks.
We have 2 hopes of silverware each season and this is one of them. Playing Spurs or Millwall at Wembley in a cup match is absolutely massive to so many of us and it is actually going to happen.
Get this allocation sorted out West Ham, you do f*** all else to help us fans out , just do this properly.
EDIT: oops wrong thread thought i was in the cup thread.

Fonte Reid Ogbonna
Zabaletta Obiang Kouyate Creswell
Antonio Arnie
Hernandez
Caroll and Ayew off the bench with 30 to go if we need goals, Byram and Fernandes if we need to protect a lead.

Yep, I also enjoyed our 2 Cup Final back-to-back wins over them in the past 2 season's. :raver:
Deep down they must be sick of losing all these Cup Finals against us they don't show up for. I now make that;
2006 Champions League ending Cup
2016 Premier League Title ending Cup
2017 Premier League Title ending Cup (2 time winners)
Ouch!
I wonder if we can also add the 2018 League Cup ending trophy as well?

Who bright idea was it to close tfl rail for this game. I am meant to be heading to Liverpool street and shoreditch after the game for a drink with the boys. I can't be asked dealing with 50million people trying to get on the central line bad enough in the morning. I may take the long way.
They know alot of fans will be coming that way as well.

The number 8 bus, (about a 10-15 min walk from stadium) will drop you off outside Shoreditch High St station.Prob wrote:Who bright idea was it to close tfl rail for this game. Aye, was 1 of my favourites an all. Well ok, if we're including that, I'll have to update the honours list..
2006 Champions League ending Cup
2014 League Cup ending Trophy
2016 Premier League Title ending Cup
2017 Premier League Title ending Cup (2 time winners)
2018 League Cup ending Trophy?
Ps - For me Ravels goal honestly beats Bales strike at the Boleyn out of which goal was better (according to Sky) and its not even a hint of bias. I truly do think that goal was better running with the ball from the halfway line bearing 2 defenders before cooly chipping their world class Keeper at the Lane. Anyone can hit top bin from distance, just ask Masuaku.

Re: West ham United v Tottenham Hotspur: Match Thread
being able to get the number 8 in is one of the few benefits of the new place for me. the walk through fish island and by the canal has its own bit of charm that is entirely void from the corporate zombie dystopia on the other side of the stadium.
always surprised by how few WHU are there waiting at the stop on old ford road after a match.

Can kid ourselves we stopped their title challenge last year ,but essentially it made no difference.15/16 was much more of a dent to them. But no question they will be out for revenge.I think the early start goes against us,but can't wait for tomorrow.
