I started MB (albeit through a different site) 2 years ago and the reload offers (Accas notwithstanding) are nowhere near as lucrative now as they were then. I've had numerous accounts restricted and found that the casino offers are very rarely worth doing. Without any reloads whatsoever, though, the sign-up offers alone have been worth worth £2k+ to me in that time.

However, the Acca offers are an absolute goldmine and I try and do 20 or so per week. They do require a lot of sitting in front of a computer screen, a modicum of discipline and a sizeable wedge in your exchange but I'm £137 up today from one acca which paid a 15% bonus on winnings and have earned a £10 free bet (should be worth about £7.50) from another. I have completed 94% of target 3 in the Betfair cash race; this is worth another £113 in addition to the £100 I have already made from it.

I treat these offers like doing a job and they reward me like one. I have also come to realise that it is not a suitable venture for people who have or have had gambling issues as the temptation not to lay bets is too great.

Acca-insurance offers can be a big earner and the main source of profit for a lot of matched bettors. A lot of people don't bother with them due to potentially having to spend time laying bets between matches. So long as you're organised, there's a lot of money to be made.

For the members who have signed up to MatchedBets, have you used our AccaBackers tool? Share your thoughts if you have.

What method do you usually use @Billy_boy ? Do you mix it up?

I try and stick to the same basic rules:

- Always cross reference the back bet with the exchange; check there is liquidity in the market and it will go in-play.
- Never have one leg begin until the previous one has settled.
- Pick home teams to win; match result only (no BTTS or other nonsense).
- If in doubt, overlay the bet.
- Avoid picking the same selection in two different accumulators.
- Mug bet £1 for each £1 placed on an offer.

I am not a huge fan of the acca tools, TBH. Have had too many accounts gubbed and I don't want to create the profile of a matched better. I try and find teams between 1.6 and 2 as these odds will generally have some scope to get cut in before K.O. I've found qualifying losses are greater with shorter priced selections (1.33 or less, typically) and offer comparatively less value.

Profit, loss and total going forward on each leg are logged in a good old fashioned leger. :)

@billy_boy

With not using an ACCA tool, are you finding your matches manually or still using an odds matcher? The main benefits for most people with using an ACCA tool are time-saving, calculating lay stakes between games which can be a tough task for some people if not accustomed to it and tracking multiple ACCA details & profit. True, all can be done with spreadsheets but it can be a more cumbersome task when completing other offers also.

For the benefit of other members, which ACCA offers do you find most profitable?

Here's a list of some ACCA-insurance offers to show people the potential profit that can be made each month:

I got seriously stung using the ACCA catcher software late last year.

Last leg of a £50 5 leg ACCA had been backed at 3.45 (don't recall which team but it was a Turkish Superlig game) some 4-5 days prior to the K.O. 3 of the first 4 legs won and the exchange had drifted out to 3.85 from 3.5. Therefore, the free bet I stood to gain could not have profitable, regardless of the outcome.

I agree that it is a useful tool for those who aren't fully conversant with the system but in my experience, it is flawed for the reasons above. Furthermore, I don't want to be seen to be putting on the same bets as other matched betters as I've learnt that bookies don't like bonus hunters! I look for them manually now. Backing 2 or more 2/1+ outsiders in a 5-leg bet is not conducive to long term gains, IMHO.

IIRC, when I started doing ACCA refunds, the ACCA catcher was not available. I'm not advocating manually logging each bet; it just works for me.

Novibet is the standout offer ATM. 15% cash bonus on winning bets, 1 leg loses and stake (up to £500!) returned as cash, not FB. No restrictions on leagues/competitions either.

TLC and FUN88 are good offers, too as the refund is £50. Hill is a staple (shame it's £20 and not £50 now) and Betstars, whilst not offering a refund, offer upto 100% bonus on winning ACCAs as FB.

Hi everyone,

As a thank you to all the KUMB members who have signed up so far to MatchedBets.com through this thread and to all who do so throughout November, we would like to give away a prize to one lucky member.

You can choose from either:

    1. Two tickets to a West Ham home game of your choice

    2. A West Ham shirt

We're able to track members who sign up via the forum so if you have signed up for the £1 offer or a full monthly or annual subscription, you will automatically be entered into the draw.

We'll draw and announce the winner on the 30th November so there's still plenty of time to sign up for £1 and to be entered into the draw. The prizes will arrive in time for Christmas so will make a great present or a treat for yourself.

Closing date for entries is Thursday 23rd November.

Here's the link again for the '7 days full premium access for £1' offer

Whats everyone's thoughts on the England game tonight? Going off the rumours, it doesn't look like a great lineup.

There are a lot of good matches in the odds matcher for the England match at the moment though. Germany are Evens which are perfect odds for claiming some free bets through signup offers.

Example:

Bet £50 on Germany to win at Ladbrokes at Evens.
Lay £50 on Germany at Matchbook Exchange at Evens

Whatever happens, you lose 57p but have a £50 free bet at Ladbrokes. Using the same process you can expect to make around £40 profit from the free bet. There are over 60 of these offers to work through on MatchedBets.

There's also a few reload offers about for the football tonight, such as Betfreds Bet £20, get £10 which returns around £5 profit.

Am I right that these free bets with W/Hill etc are for new customers only? If you already have accounts with all the bookies you cant take advantage of these bets can you?

Good question and a quite common one :)

There are existing customer offers following the signups that can be used to make a sustainable profit. It's these 'reloads' that allow us to use matched betting to earn money month after month. There are money back specials, loyalty schemes, acca insurance offers, plus casino and bingo bonuses to exploit. Plenty to keep things ticking over that's for sure!

A couple of good signup offers here for people who don't already have Coral or SportNation accounts.

Coral - 25/1 for a goal to be scored in the England v Brazil match tonight
https://www.matchedbets.com/coral-enhanced-odds/251-any-goal-to-be-scored/

SportNation - 100/1 for England to beat Brazil
https://www.matchedbets.com/sport-nation-enhanced-odds/sportnation-1001-england-to-beat-brazil/

You can matched bet these offers to return a profit or you can take a punt if you're confident. Coral do some great offers for existing customers so it's worth signing up if you don't already have an account.

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to let everyone know that there's not long left to get registered to be in with a chance of winning either a pair of tickets to a WH game of your choice or a WH shirt.

If you join MatchedBets through the KUMB link you'll get full premium access for 7 days for £1. That should be enough time to complete a few bookmaker offers and make you a good profit as well as being in with a chance to win the prize.

Here are a few enhanced odds offers for the weekend:

40/1 Man Utd to beat Newcastle
https://www.matchedbets.com/sport-nation-enhanced-odds/401-manchester-united-to-beat-newcastle-united/

50/1 Spurs to beat Arsenal
https://www.matchedbets.com/sport-nation-enhanced-odds/501-spurs-to-beat-arsenal/

Or for anyone interested in horse racing, 66/1 for Special Tiara to win the Shloer Chase at Cheltenham on Sunday
