That would mean having a competent manager in charge, Jon.

It doesn't really matter where the money has gone does it?. No one worth a damn is going to Join West Ham to get relegated with our part time Manager and the two old gits in charge.

Why on earth would you want to come here? We are more likely to lose players than sign new ones.

Best not think about it, makes you want to weep! Roll on the Championship :crest:

Wolves been linked with Jurgen Locadia - think he'd be a good fit for us as a Sakho replacement who could come on once Antonio is knackered.

If Moyes sticks with a mobile rumbler up top, where does that leave not just Carroll, but Hernandez?

Plan B Bubbs - especially for team outside the top six who we need to break down in the second half.

Not sure we need a plan C though.

Flak jacket at the ready and not sure if it has been mentioned, but I would swallow my pride and see if we could persuade our best player in the last 30 years to return.

Made a huge mistake, football genius and made an average team look like world beaters in our final UP season.

Not playing, not scoring and costing OM a fortune.

Come back and make up Dimi, you need to get back into your WC squad.

(I'll just take cover).

Sounds like a plan - Nik Nak could then pin the blame for Payet leaving on Slav

With every passing transfer window, I cast my memory back to 'Mickeybluenose's' post at the time they took us over. 'Every transfer window is the same, you will be linked with every player going, but he will deliver you jack'

Stranger things have happened so you never know.

But I still ache from when McAvennie came back to us, never the same player as he was in his first spell with us.

Hart, Byram, Collins, Fonte, Rice, Fernandes, Kouyate, Ayew, Sakho, Carroll, Hernandez

All players who did not start yesterday as we beat the champions

Carry on as we have played the last 2 games between now and the end of the year and we'll be out of trouble. No stop gaps needed, just quality improvements then...

I wouldn't be too disappointed with a good run between now and then and a quiet window to be honest...work with who we have makes most sense to me. Some good players in that lot

We're still third from bottom. Let's not be complacent, we're still in a lot of trouble and very dependent on one or two individuals to enable us to play like yesterday.

Older, slower. fatter, moodier.

No thanks. He had the chance to be a West Ham United legend and blew it. You don't get a second chance.

I'm with Jon, coach what we've got and then in the summer we can reassess the situation. In many ways the league season is a write off. Go for it in the cups, do enough in the league, give what we have a fair crack and do the necessary in the summer. The only stumbling block in all of this is that blithering idiotic midget and his stupid ideas. We could be a well ran ship on a tight budget over the next few years now if he didn't get involved.

I would like to see someone like Ruben Neves of Wolves as a defensive midfielder.

They payed 15 million for him, over the odds really, should have been about 9 million.

But for a 20 year old he is proving to be the real deal.

There must be a star in the making out there for us, surely.

Neves is only there due to Mendes basically running the club, no chance he goes anywhere till at least end of season, also he is worth 50 mil to Wolves currently with their league position

Quite. But someone LIKE HIM would be good.

I see that Fernandino is out of contract in the summer. Good value for about 10 or 12 million.
