If Everton hadn't ****ed a draw against Liverpool they would be on 25 pts with Watford, and but for Carroll's
late-late winner we would be on 20 with WBA on 17. Fine, fine margins.
There is virtually no such thing as "mid-table" this season.Creativity-wise and pace-wise the squad is paper-thin, so anything can happen. Ever since I predicted that Valencia would be a success at West Ham I've
stopped making predictions - but I'll predict that we'll get relegated if anyone thinks that might help. :)

I see a lot of bus parking going on in a lot of those games

Of course if that means we finish 11th, those West Amnesia United supporters amongst us will be claiming that’s progress, and suggesting Moysey should be rewarded with another 12 months

Do we start next season with 3 consecutive away games too?

You would like to think some quality signings would see us all feeling more positive and therefore predictions should be reserved until the transfer window closes.

Sadly we all know this lot will merely papers over the cracks.

I think we will stay up, albeit an injury crisis that affected certain positions, could see some hair raising moments.

15th come May.

All I really want anyway is Millwall in the cup!

I don't know how it's going to end but without calling the devil out that last game V Everton is starting to look interesting and not in the way it was a few short weeks ago!

I stand by this, we'll get seventh place, maybe not 58 points though!

4 wins
5 draws
4 defeats

Maybe, I'm more along these lines

6 wins
4 draws
3 defeats
47 points
7th place

I think Burnley will start to slump now, as will the other three above us

There are a couple of teams just above us I think we can overtake, but any talk of 7th or 8th is a bit overly optimistic, but personally, I don't think much higher than we are at present. A great win yesterday should still not mask a few defiencies in midfield and we are also only ever a few players absent through injuries or suspension from crisis. It is always easy to get carried away after a decent run of form and I can understand why, I'm just as guilty myself

Whoooooaaaa. Calm down brothers and sisters.

We are far away from securing 11th place (or slightly above). We still need at least 3 players imo. If we fail to get them we will do well to win the necessary 6 or 7 games until.now and the end of the season.

I think we might need more than the usual 38 pts to stay up this year.

Yesterday's win was massive as from looking like we had one foot in the Championship after that terrible defeat at Goodison we have now turned the corner and have got 25 pts with 15 games left...

Our run in is terrible though so we aren't likely to pick up many points in our last five or six fixtures - we need to get to the magical 40 pts as quickly as possible and our run of winnable home games are key.

I can see us finishing on 41 - 43 pts which is nothing special but better than a kick in the b*llocks.

Could potentially be 6 points off 7th or 2 points from the bottom three after next weekend. Looking at us at the minute I see no reason why we can't push on here and challenge for 7th. However, this is West Ham.

46 points, 10th - the mid table mediocrity aspired to by the board...we will be sold the pup again about paying for STs early based on such success.

Exactly what I have been thinking. The four above us aren't going to get any better, we're on the rise. If Lanzini, Arnie and Oggy can stay fit, and the midfield can sort itself out, with the player we have coming back we could do this

The bottom 5 are all on less than a point per game ratio, so it’s very unlikely that anything over 38 points will be required to stay up.With so much dross in the league I think 36 will be enough. I make you about right on our points total possibly slighty higher. :crest:
