I'd want to be paid a hell of a lot more to be thrown under a bus at some stage in the future.

Strange how they haven't asked for previous knowledge or experience of social media management or media relations in the Skills & Knowledge.

Wow! I really don't know whether to laugh or cry. We are so tin pot, it really is quite depressing. How on earth are we expecting to fill that role with such a poor salary? Are they hoping for a West Ham supporter who will essentially take a huge pay cut? Or more likely they will accept someone who has no where near the level of experience required for the role? Well I guess Brady needs to get her bonus again this year so it has to come from somewhere and be justified somehow. "Karren managed to fill staff roles we had in the budget at being £250k in total, for just £50k, she therefore deserves her £1m bonus, well done her"

If this is our approach to personnel acquisition in general (which I suspect it is), then it's no wonder we are so poorly run. Absolute joke, I really am hoping this is some kind of mistake :(

London Living Wage as an annual salary: £10.20 x 37.5 x 52 = £19,890

They just don't get it, do they?

So the successful applicant should work as hard as young Jack and take abuse from her majesty. If Moyes goes, they can also manage the club for this princely wage. GSB are a bunch of amateurs ripping the sould out of the club.

19.5 grand a year is a lot of money if like me your living on just over 8, I can see lot's of applicants for the post not because of the money, but because of who the employer is.

I'd love to have that sort of money, but working under the tutelage of Madam Cyn and the dynamic duo wouldn't help my mental health problems at all.

I really think they will fill the post easily, there are lots of people in my position who just need a hand. My problem as well would be I'd be tempted to post the truth, I'd last about 2 days before they got shot of me, But as I said there are people who will want the job,and have no idea what they will be walking into.
