I think this would be pushing it a bit, individually I think these players would have enough to better a league one side but I’d like to see a one or two wiser heads amongst them. Maybe Noble in midfield and Ayew alongside Martinez.

That's front five have less than ten first team starts between them. It's a lovely idea but I don't think we can risk it that far

I would be lumping on Shrewsbury at approx 13/2 if that were the team.

Me too, then cash out at 2-0 down to back us before we threw Lanzini, Arnautovic and Noble on...

If it is on the back of extra-time they wouldn't set off from the ground much before 11pm so it could be 4am before most of them get home.

No training Thursday, light session Friday morning and off to a hotel in London in the afternoon... Not ideal prep to be honest.
I wouldn't expect there to be more than 2 or 3 players in the Bournemouth team vs Wigan who will feature against us at the weekend

I think we'll see Oxford, Rice, Burke and Cullen all start, and then the rest will be senior players, bench full of kids. No idea who though.

Ex is usually spot on with team news, love him or hate him...
One youngester starts today who I am very interested to see! The rest of the team have all played before so it’s quite an experienced team despite some late drop outs
Also confirmed that Oxford starts (but is not the youngster in question). Assume it is either Haksabanovic or Martinez.

Oh Oh... Hakšabanović....
Sead Hakšabanović
He's our Swedish born Montenegrin...

(to Englishman in New York of course)

Very good sir!

Pleased to see Oxford might be playing. I was wondering what had happened to him since his recall, what was the 'freak' knock mentioned?

It’s so he’s unfit and has a crap game. That way Moyes can say he had a good look at him before we sell him.
