Probably a controversial statement after last night but I don’t think Watford are very good. Very few players I’d want coming over here.

Feeling pretty positive about this, so I’ll predict only a 3-0 defeat.

I agree – I don’t think they are all that, Chelsea were very poor last night. Still think we have the minerals to win on saturday

Bringing my wife and 8 year old son up from Dorset for this 1, first time at the new stadium for both of them. Not sure it was such a good idea now

I'd have Richarlason (sp?) and Deaney.

Doucoure would be our best central midfielder by a long shot.

need to start well as they will fancy there chances against our lazy unmotivated mob

hopefully arnautovic can play. we have a two week break and then anfield which realistically we will get beaten at, so this is a real must win game.

Adrian
fonte ogbonna rice
zabaleta noble Mario kouyate cresswell
arnautovic Hernandez

subs hart Collins reid byram Antonio hughill cullen

2-0 hammers all rosy in the garden ! ARNIE and Hernandez

COYI Support the team fully but hate the board

A combined XI

Adrian
Prodl Ogbonna Cresswell
Janmaat Noble Doucoure Masuaku
Arnautovic Lanzini
Hernandez

This is with a very limited knowledge of Watford’s squad.

For what it’s worth I think the bench would be entirely Watford players which shows their depth over ours. Players like Delofeu, Richarlison, Gray, Capoue, Deeney, whilst not starters would definitely get game time. Not sure I can say the same for Byram, Kouyate, Carroll, Fonte and Collins.

At the back they aren’t very good. Midfield and going forward they are through. Deeney is what he is, a big frontman that does a job for them. Their midfield is a strong athletic one. Capoue and Doucoure will once again probably dominate us. Our midfield is a problem and it’s no surprise we have struggled against them. Infact the last time we beat them since they come back up was when they had an FA Cup semi and we were going for 4th.

If Deeney is banned, it will help us massively.

Kouyate needs to be disciplined and put in a big shift in the middle of the park.

We know that, our manager knows that, the opposition manager knows that, the opposition team knows that...shame our Board doesn't.

Troy 'pulls your face off' Deeney, might be banned v us, cos of his middle finger.
Watford also struggled to fill their sub's bench, last night.
They've got 2 days less than us to recover.
I'm really scraping the bottom of the barrel, aren't I?

Stop kidding yourselves lads. We couldn't beat Palace or Bournemouth at home and in my opinion this mob are better than both. They're also coming off the back of a 4-1 walloping of Chelsea so we have no chance.

West Ham United 1-3 Watford.

Palace beat Watford just a couple of months back, and Bournemouth are on an eight match unbeaten run during which they've beaten Chelsea and Arsenal. Neither are pushovers and the same is true of Watford.

We just need to match them physically. Easier said than done of course...

This logic is flawed. We beat Chelsea at home who are third in the league, by your logic we would beat Bournemouth and Crystal Palace who are worse than Chelsea. But football doesn’t work like that.

I'm afraid the gaps in our squad will be exposed against this lot .

A point at best for us .

A team of **** players, playing well together can out do a team of decent or good players, playing **** together

That's our problem. On paper, we have a good squad, but they cannot play together. For what ever reason. And we seem to be plagued with injuries again and again.
